Team of the Week - Round Thirty

There was drama at both ends of the Premier League table as Man City's title challenge all but ended while Spurs continued their slump as the race for fourth hots up. Down at the bottom, Aston Villa won their second straight game to halt QPR's renaissance, while Wigan pipped Newcastle in a controversial game at the DW Stadium. But who made the POT Team of the Week?

Goalkeeper: Brad Guzan (Aston Villa)

Guzan kept Villa in the game against QPR, with two first-half saves from Christopher Samba particularly impressive. Once Gabby Agbonlahor equalised on the stroke of half-time, Villa had the momentum, and that was down to the American goalkeeper.

Full-backs: Seamus Coleman (Everton), Nacho Monreal (Arsenal)

Coleman was outstanding in Everton's win over Man City while Monreal scored his first goal in England in Arsenal's 2-0 win at Swansea.

Centre-backs: Rio Ferdinand (Man Utd), Robert Huth (Stoke)

Ferdinand marked his return to the England fold with a majestic display at the back for United, his forward run setting up Wayne Rooney for the first goal against Reading, while Huth was solid as Stoke kept a rare clean sheet against West Brom.

Midfielders: Morgan Schneiderlin (Southampton), Steve Sidwell (Fulham), Leon Osman (Everton), Shaun Maloney (Wigan)

Schneiderlin scored the first goal against the team he supports, Liverpool, for the Saints while Sidwell was outstanding in midfield as Fulham beat Spurs. Osman scored a stunning goal for Everton while Maloney was a crucial part of the Wigan side that beat Newcastle.

Forwards: Andi Weimann (Aston Villa), Eden Hazard (Chelsea)

Weimann scored one and set up another as Villa came from behind to beat QPR in a crucial game at Villa Park while Hazard capped an impressive display at West Ham with another goal as well.
