CasinoLab Review: Costa Rica Paperwork, No Gaming Licence

CasinoLab accepts Irish players under rules that name no regulator, and the only company link is a Costa Rica registration. No gaming licence we could find, no Irish licence: swerve.

CasinoLab: review

CasinoLab accepts players from Ireland but holds no Irish licence and names no gaming regulator in its terms. This CasinoLab review therefore lands on swerve: the only official-looking detail we found is a Costa Rica company, GMBL Tech, listed by a casino review directory, and a Costa Rica registration is not a gaming licence.

Section 2.3 of the CasinoLab rules lists the jurisdictions it excludes. Ireland is not on it, so Irish residents can open an account. That is where the good news stops.

Is CasinoLab legit?

Legitimate in the sense of a real business taking real money, apparently so. Legitimate in the sense a punter needs, with a regulator who can investigate a complaint, no. Costa Rica is a place to register a company, not a gaming regulator in the way Malta or Great Britain is. Without a gaming licence there is no published standard for game fairness, no dispute service and no rule on how player balances are held.

Ireland does not license online casinos yet either: the GRAI expects to begin gaming licences in early 2027. That is why our casino rankings include only brands with a recognised foreign licence, and CasinoLab casino is not among them. The licensing explainer covers what will change and when.

CasinoLab sports betting and the GRAI

The same directory lists a sports section alongside the casino. That matters more than it might seem. A sportsbook serving Ireland has needed a GRAI remote betting licence since 1 July 2026, and CasinoLab is not on the register; it was not on Revenue's list of remote bookmakers at 30 June 2026 either. If you want a bet on racing or hurling, use a licensed bookmaker. Our betting page lists them.

The licensed firms also pay the 2% betting duty to Revenue on Irish turnover and must offer money limits under the 2024 Act. An unlicensed sportsbook does neither as far as anyone in Ireland can check, and its prices carry none of that cost or that oversight.

CasinoLab withdrawals: what the terms say

Here the terms are more forthcoming than most. Section 6.15 sets the processing rule: Requests processed within 3 business days, Monday to Friday 6 AM-5 PM GMT (terms 6.15). Read that closely. A request processed is not money in your account, because bank or e-wallet transfer time comes afterwards. Office hours on weekdays also mean a request made on a Friday evening waits for the following week.

Rules are only as good as the means of enforcing them. If a CasinoLab withdrawal stalls past the stated window, there is no regulator to escalate to, Irish or foreign, and the operator decides its own appeal.

CasinoLab bonus, promo code and free spins

We confirmed no current welcome bonus, promo code, no deposit bonus or free spins. Where the operator data holds an offer, it shows here: . At a casino without a gaming licence, wagering rules and maximum cash-out limits are written and interpreted by the operator alone. Our bonus guide explains what fair terms look like at a regulated site.

CasinoLab app and sister sites

No CasinoLab app was confirmed in the official stores. On sister sites, one link is visible from the outside: Realz and Monsterwin keep their excluded-country lists in an identically numbered rules section at the same path. That suggests a shared platform or template. We found no common owner, and a template is not a group; all three are on our swerve list.

CasinoLab review: the final word

Clear processing terms do not make up for the absence of a gaming regulator. CasinoLab gets a swerve, and we do not link to it. Adults, 18+, who still want casino games should start from brands with a published Malta or British licence. If the balance of play has shifted from fun to chasing losses, our responsible gambling page lists Irish support that costs nothing.

Readers' questions

Is CasinoLab licensed?
Not by any gaming regulator we could identify. Its rules name no licence, and the Costa Rica company linked to it is a business registration.
Can I play at CasinoLab from Ireland?
Its excluded list does not name Ireland, so it accepts Irish residents. It has no Irish licence and offers no Irish protection.
How long does a CasinoLab withdrawal take?
Its terms set a processing window on business days only. Transfer time to your bank or wallet comes on top.
Does CasinoLab take bets on sport?
A review directory lists a sports section. It holds no GRAI betting licence, which online bookmakers serving Ireland have needed since 1 July 2026.
