Terms of Use

The rules for using the guide: it informs, it does not advise, and the operator's own terms always outrank our summary of them. Irish law applies.

Terms

These terms of use cover every page of Pick Our Team. By reading the guide you accept them; if you do not, please stop using it.

Information, not advice

We publish information about betting, racing, the National Lottery and online gaming. Nothing here is financial, legal or betting advice, and no page tells you what to stake or that a selection will win. A worked example on a guide page, a 5/2 shot with a EUR 10 stake returning EUR 35, is arithmetic, not a tip.

Operators' terms come first

Bookmakers and casinos change offers, limits, payment methods and rules without asking us. Our pages record what the operator's terms and help pages said when checked, and the date on each page says when that was. Before you join or claim anything, read the operator's current terms. Where they differ from our summary, theirs bind you and ours do not.

Licence status is checked against regulators' records and explained in our licensing guide. A licence can be granted, suspended or lapse between our checks; the regulator's register is the final word.

Results and racing data

Lotto, EuroMillions and Daily Million results reach our pages through a feed. Feeds fail now and then. The National Lottery's own published results are the official record, and a prize is paid on those, not on ours. Racecards and sports data are supplied the same way; confirm runners and prices with your bookmaker before you bet.

Some links take you to operators, and some of those are affiliate links, as the affiliate disclosure explains. We are not responsible for what happens on another site, including accounts, deposits, bets and withdrawals. Any agreement you make is between you and that operator.

Adults only, and no workarounds

You must be 18 or over to gamble in Ireland and to use the operator links on this guide. Do not use anything here to get around a block, an age check or a self-exclusion you have set; we publish no such methods and will not help with one. If gambling is causing harm, the responsible gambling page lists free support.

The text, tables and design of the guide belong to its publisher. You may quote a short passage with a link back to the page. Copying whole pages, or republishing our reviews elsewhere, needs written permission.

Liability

We take care over facts and correct mistakes when told, but we cannot promise that every page is complete and current at every moment. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from use of the guide, including bets placed or offers claimed after reading it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you hold as a consumer under Irish law.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the law of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction. We may revise them; the date on this page shows the current version. Questions go to the editors through the contact page.

Readers' questions

If your page and the bookmaker's terms disagree, which counts?
The bookmaker's current terms. Our page is a summary checked on the date shown, and offers change.
Are the Lotto results on your pages official?
They come from a feed. The National Lottery's own published results are the official record for any prize claim.
