We print no numbers by hand. The feed carries the published result for each draw; when it differs from the official National Lottery result, the official version is the one that pays.

Daily Million results: which draw is yours

With two draws a day, the first thing to check on a Daily Million ticket is not the numbers but the draw: the date and whether it was the 2pm or the 9pm. A ticket bought late in the morning and a ticket bought in the evening can belong to different draws on the same day, and the ticket itself says which. Checking the wrong one is the commonest way to miss a small win or imagine one.

The feed shows the most recent draw first. "Daily million result today" usually means the 2pm draw until 9pm, and the 9pm draw after that.

How the game is priced

According to published game details, a Daily Million line costs EUR 1 and the top prize is a fixed EUR 1 million. Daily Million Plus is an add-on at EUR 0.50 per line, with a top prize of EUR 500,000. We have not confirmed these figures against the operator's own pages, so check the prices at the counter or on the official site before buying. The number of balls and the full prize table are set out in the official game rules, which we do not paraphrase from memory.

Item Daily Million Daily Million Plus
Draws 2pm and 9pm, every day Same draws
Price per line EUR 1 EUR 0.50 extra
Top prize EUR 1 million, fixed EUR 500,000

A fixed top prize changes the arithmetic

Unlike the Lotto and EuroMillions, the Daily Million has no rolling jackpot. The top prize is the same EUR 1 million on a quiet Tuesday afternoon as it is on a Saturday night, so there is never a "big draw" worth waiting for. Nor is there any equivalent of the must-be-won roll-down the Lotto uses once its jackpot has sat at the EUR 16 million cap, because there is nothing to roll. Every Daily Million draw stands alone, and the top prize is known before you buy. What does add up is frequency. Take one line with Plus in both daily draws:

  • One draw: EUR 1 + EUR 0.50 = EUR 1.50.
  • One day, both draws: 2 x EUR 1.50 = EUR 3.
  • One week: 7 x EUR 3 = EUR 21.
  • One year: 365 x EUR 3 = EUR 1,095.

That is the cost of a single line, before any second line or a Lotto ticket on top. Small stakes on a game drawn fourteen times a week behave like a subscription.

Daily Million predictions and number "systems"

There is steady search traffic for Daily Million predictions. The plain answer is that nobody can predict a lottery draw. Each draw is independent of every one before it; balls that have not appeared for weeks are no more "due" than the ones drawn yesterday, and a frequency chart of past results tells you about the past only. Any site or app selling Daily Million predictions is selling a story.

What a player can control is cost and timing: how many lines, how many draws, and whether the Plus add-on is worth an extra 50 cent a line given its lower top prize.

Results history and checking old tickets

The feed above is built for the latest draws. For a results history going further back, the official National Lottery website keeps the archive. That archive is also the record a retail agent pays against, so it settles any doubt about an older 2pm or 9pm draw. Before trawling through it, check the date on the ticket: National Lottery prizes expire 90 days after the date of the draw, so a Daily Million ticket from last spring cannot be paid whatever it shows. Our guide to checking tickets walks through the routine, and the lotto results hub lists every game's latest draw on one page.

Claiming a Daily Million prize

A Daily Million win is claimed like any other National Lottery prize, inside the same 90-day window: the shop pays small amounts, and the official claim instructions say where larger ones go. Nothing is deducted for tax, as our tax guide sets out.

Fourteen draws a week is a lot of draws

The Daily Million is an 18+ game, like everything the National Lottery sells. Its pace is the point to watch: with a result every few hours, it is easy to buy the next ticket on autopilot. If that sounds familiar, our safer gambling page has free Irish support services and practical limits to set.

Readers' questions

What time is the Daily Million drawn?
Twice a day, at 2pm and 9pm, every day of the week including weekends.
Does the Daily Million jackpot roll over?
No. The top prize is a fixed EUR 1 million, so it does not grow when nobody wins it.
What does Daily Million Plus cost?
EUR 0.50 extra per line, according to published game details, for a top prize of EUR 500,000. Confirm the price when you buy.
Can anyone predict the Daily Million numbers?
No. Each draw is independent, and past results have no bearing on the next one.
