Lotto Plus results: three draws, one set of numbers

Buy a Lotto line with Plus and that line is checked three times: against the main Lotto draw, against Lotto Plus 1 and against Lotto Plus 2. Each is a separate draw with its own balls, so a line that does nothing in the main draw can still pay in one of the Plus draws, and a line can collect in more than one. That is the whole case for the add-on, and the reason Lotto Plus results so often get missed: players check the main draw, see nothing, and bin the ticket.

The Lotto itself runs on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday since September 2026, with six numbers from 1 to 45. Lotto Plus follows the same calendar, and the results are published with the main draw.

What changed for Lotto Plus in September 2026

The headline change was to Plus 2. Its top prize rose from EUR 250,000 to EUR 1 million, which puts it level with Plus 1. Both Plus draws now carry a EUR 1 million top prize. Neither is a rolling jackpot: the figure does not climb when nobody wins it.

The other September changes reach Lotto Plus indirectly. The matrix lost two balls (47 down to 45), and since Plus uses the same numbers, every Plus line is now drawn from the smaller pool. The Lotto Raffle, which used to ride along with the main draw, has gone. The lower-tier prize amounts for Plus have not been confirmed from official sources, so we do not list them here; the official game rules carry the full prize table.

What Lotto Plus costs

A Lotto line costs EUR 2, with a minimum of two lines. Lotto Plus adds EUR 1 per line, and covers both Plus 1 and Plus 2 together; there is no buying one without the other. The arithmetic:

Lines Lotto only Lotto with Plus
2 (the minimum) EUR 4 EUR 6
4 EUR 8 EUR 12
6 EUR 12 EUR 18

Across three draws a week, the minimum entry with Plus comes to EUR 18 a week, or EUR 72 over a four-week month. Without Plus, the same two lines cost EUR 12 a week. Whether the extra EUR 6 a week is good value is a matter of taste. Plus never offers the headline jackpot, but its EUR 1 million top prizes are fixed, so they do not depend on a rollover or a roll-down to be worth having. The honest test is simpler: would you buy a third and fourth line of Lotto for the same money? Plus gives two extra draws on the lines you already hold instead.

Plus 1 or Plus 2: is there a difference?

Since September 2026, very little that a player would notice. Both draws use your Lotto numbers, both run on Lotto nights and both top out at EUR 1 million. Before the change, Plus 2 was the poor relation at EUR 250,000, and older articles still describe it that way. Results for the two are published separately, which is why the feed above lists them one after the other: check both.

A Lotto Plus checker routine

  1. Find the draw date on the ticket and confirm Plus was bought; it is printed on the ticket.
  2. Check each line against the main Lotto numbers for that date.
  3. Check the same line again against Lotto Plus 1.
  4. Then once more against Lotto Plus 2.
  5. Mark any wins separately; one line can pay in two or three draws.

If the ticket covers several draws, repeat the routine for each date. Our how to play and check guide covers the Lotto ticket from purchase to claim.

Claiming a Plus prize

A win in Plus 1 or Plus 2 is paid exactly as a main Lotto prize is, and it runs on the same 90-day clock from the draw date, so a ticket checked late against Plus can still be in time. There is no tax to pay on a winning line, as our guide to winnings and tax explains.

Keeping the add-on in proportion

Lotto Plus is an 18+ product, and its pitch is a cheaper way into a million-euro prize. It is still a lottery, priced to raise money rather than return it. If extra lines and add-ons have crept into the weekly shop without much thought, our responsible gambling page has free support and some sensible limits.

Readers' questions

Are Lotto Plus 1 and Plus 2 drawn on the same night as the Lotto?
Yes, they run on Lotto nights and use the same numbers as your main Lotto line, in two separate draws.
What is the Lotto Plus 2 top prize now?
EUR 1 million since September 2026, up from EUR 250,000. Plus 1 also has a EUR 1 million top prize.
Can I buy Lotto Plus on its own?
No. It is an add-on to a Lotto line, at EUR 1 extra per line, and covers both Plus draws.
Can one line win in the Lotto and Lotto Plus?
Yes. The draws are separate, so the same line is checked against each and can win in more than one.
