Asino Review: The Curacao Licence Behind the Bonus Searches

Asino is a Curacao-licensed casino run by Hollycorn N.V. Most Irish searches are about its bonus; the more useful question is what that licence does, and does not, cover.

Asino: review

Asino is an offshore online casino licensed in Curacao, with no Irish licence and no Irish regulator to hear a complaint. This Asino review sets out who runs it, why the bonus that draws most of the searches cannot be verified, and why our verdict is to give it a wide berth.

Asino review: Hollycorn N.V. and the Curacao certificate

The operator is Hollycorn N.V., a Curacao company registered at Scharlooweg 39, Willemstad, under company number 144359. An affiliate-programme page and a compliance directory both name it as owner of the Asino site, and a certificate from the Curacao Gaming Authority lists Hollycorn N.V. under its licence: Curacao Gaming Authority OGL/2023/176/0095 (holder Hollycorn N.V.). That is more paper than many offshore brands show, and it is fair to say so. The certificate can be looked up on the Curacao regulator's own site, which is the right place to check before trusting any review, this one included.

Paper is not protection, though. A Curacao licence means the Curacao Gaming Authority is the body that would hear a complaint. It does not bring Irish consumer law, an Irish regulator or Irish dispute handling into play. Players in the State have no domestic route if a withdrawal stalls.

No Irish casino licence exists yet

No online casino holds an Irish licence, because none has been issued: the GRAI expects to start gaming licensing in early 2027. In the meantime casinos serving Ireland rely on foreign licences, and they are not equal. Malta and Great Britain run public registers, published complaint procedures and enforcement records. Curacao remains the lighter option, which is why our casino rankings carry only brands with stronger foreign licences.

Asino's own site refused our requests, so its restricted-countries list could not be read. No source we found shows Ireland as excluded. That is weaker than a confirmation in the terms, and anyone signing up would be relying on the operator's goodwill on that point too.

The Asino bonus: why no figures appear here

More people search for the Asino bonus than for the brand itself. People want the size of the welcome package and the free spins count. We cannot give either: the operator's terms were unreadable, and figures repeated across affiliate pages are not a source. Any offer the operator confirms will show here: .

More useful than the headline number is the shape of the terms. Before taking any casino bonus, find the wagering requirement, the maximum bet while wagering, the games that count, the expiry date and any cap on winnings. With an offshore operator, add a sixth question: who decides if you and the casino disagree? For Asino the answer is the operator, then Curacao. Our bonuses section explains each term in more detail.

Promo codes, free spins and sister brands

No Asino promo code is verified. Codes shared on forums tend to be affiliate tracking tags or expired campaigns. We have not identified sister casinos with confidence either: Hollycorn N.V. is named for Asino, and the sister sites guide explains why a shared licence holder is the only reliable link between brands.

Verdict: swerve

Asino is offshore. It has no Irish licence, Irish law offers its customers no protection, and a dispute would rest with the Curacao Gaming Authority. We do not link to it. The licence is real enough; it simply is not the kind we can recommend to an Irish player while better-regulated options exist.

Casino play is for adults only, 18+. Deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion are worth setting before the first spin, and our safer gambling page covers where to get help in Ireland.

Readers' questions

Who runs Asino casino?
Hollycorn N.V., a company registered in Willemstad, Curacao, under company number 144359. A Curacao Gaming Authority certificate lists it as the licence holder.
Is Asino legal for Irish players?
Ireland has not yet licensed any online casino, so no casino can show an Irish licence. Asino works under a Curacao licence only, which gives Irish players no domestic complaint route.
How big is the Asino welcome bonus?
We could not verify it from the operator's terms, so we do not print a figure. Check the wagering, maximum bet and winnings cap on the operator's own bonus page before accepting anything.
Can I check the Asino licence myself?
Yes. Use the Curacao Gaming Authority's own certificate lookup, search for Hollycorn N.V. and check that the Asino domain is listed against the licence. A certificate you find yourself proves more than one reached through a casino's link.
