BetAhoy: review

BetAhoy is a UK sportsbook and casino run by Bet Ahoy Ltd of Uckfield, and it is not available to players in Ireland. This BetAhoy review is a short one for that reason.

The UK Gambling Commission register shows Bet Ahoy Ltd, account 100094, with active remote licences for bingo, casino and general betting since 17 December 2025. The brand trades in sterling on a UK domain, and its homepage and terms page return a "Restricted Country" notice to visitors from outside the UK. No named list of restricted countries could be read, so our conclusion rests on the UK-only licence and that geo-block.

BetAhoy review: the Irish register

It holds no Irish licence. Bet Ahoy Ltd is not on the GRAI register, which every bookmaker taking online bets from Ireland has needed since 1 July 2026, and it was not on the Revenue list before that. A UK licence is a serious one, but it covers British customers. Our licensing guide explains the Irish register.

BetAhoy casino and sister sites

Trade press reported its UK launch on EveryMatrix technology; we hold no list of sister brands. For Irish punters the verdict is swerve, simply because the door is shut. Licensed alternatives are in our bookmakers section.

Betting is 18+. Free Irish support is on our responsible gambling page.
