Betcity is a Dutch bookmaker and casino, and it does not serve Irish residents. Our Betcity review is brief for that reason: the brand is built for the Netherlands, licensed there, and absent from the GRAI register, so an Irish punter has nothing to sign up to.
Betcity review: who runs it and where
The Dutch site is operated by Betent B.V. of Amsterdam under licence 3629 from the Kansspelautoriteit, the Netherlands gambling regulator. It offers sports betting and casino games, and it runs the checks Dutch law requires: every player is screened against CRUKS, the Dutch self-exclusion register, and Dutch net deposit limits apply. Those are good protections. They are Dutch ones, built around Dutch residents.
Not the same Betcity
A separately run Betcity site under an Anjouan licence, held by BetFractal Ltd, shows up in register data. It is a different business, and its site did not load for us. We do not review or recommend it, and a shared name is no reason to treat it as the Dutch operator.
Betcity in Ireland
To take bets from people in Ireland, an online bookmaker has needed a GRAI remote betting licence since 1 July 2026. Betcity has no Irish licence and does not offer its service here. Searches for a Betcity app, bonus or no deposit offer from Ireland have no useful answer. Irish punters should pick from the licensed firms in our betting section; the licensing guide lists what the register shows.
