Betnero Review: The Casino Is Waiting for a Licence

Betnero's own pages say its online casino is waiting for a new licence. Until it has one, there is nothing to review and no reason to deposit.

Betnero: review

This Betnero review is short because Betnero is not operating as a licensed casino: its About page and a site notice say the online casino is waiting for a new licence and will be back soon. It holds no Irish licence, is not on the Revenue register, and gives no company name or licence number.

Betnero review: the licence history

The brand's rest-of-world page once described it as licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority and pointed UK visitors to a separate UK-licensed site. A 2021 article also reported an MGA licence. No current licence number or company appears on the site today, and the notice about waiting for a new licence settles the matter: there is nothing for a regulator to stand behind at present.

No casino holds an Irish licence in any case; GRAI gaming licensing is expected in early 2027. Our licensing page explains the timetable.

Bonus, app and sister sites

Searches still ask about a Betnero bonus, an app and sister sites. With the casino offline pending a licence, none of those questions has a live answer, and we know of no sister brand that has taken its players. If Betnero returns with a licence we can check, we will review it properly.

Anyone with an old balance should contact the operator in writing and keep copies. For casinos that are open and licensed abroad, see our casino pages. Gambling is 18+; our safer gambling page lists free help.

Readers' questions

Is Betnero open?
Its own pages say the online casino is waiting for a new licence and will be back soon.
Does Betnero have an Irish licence?
No. It is not on the Revenue or GRAI registers, and no casino can hold an Irish licence before gaming licensing starts.
