Goldenbet Review: A Licence Nobody Could Show Us
Goldenbet is not on the GRAI register, its site would not load for us, and the only licence on offer is a Curacao one reported by third parties. That is not enough to back.

18+ only. Gambling can become a problem. Set a limit before you start. Help and support

This Goldenbet review can give the main answer at once: the brand holds no Irish licence and is absent from the GRAI register of licensed bookmakers. Reviews name Santeda International B.V. as the operator under a licence from Curacao, but the official site could not be reached when the desk checked it, so the operator's own statement of its licence is missing and the verdict is swerve.
That is a thin file for a well-searched name, and a short, accurate page beats one padded with guesses.
Goldenbet review: what can be confirmed
Very little, first hand. Goldenbet does not appear on the GRAI register, which since 1 July 2026 is the list that matters for anyone taking bets from Ireland, and it was not on Revenue's legacy list of remote bookmakers dated 30 June 2026 either. The domain did not respond to our checks. The operator name, Santeda International B.V., and the Curacao licence come from third-party reviews, not from a footer we read ourselves.
One affiliate review written for Irish readers exists, and the brand is described in some places as a betting site and in others as a casino. Which products it offers to an account opened in Ireland we cannot say, and we have not listed restricted countries because we found no list naming Ireland either way.
The Malta claims that did not hold up
A search for Goldenbet throws up pages saying it holds a Malta Gaming Authority licence. On inspection they are copied spam pages, near-identical text pasted across low-grade sites, and we discounted them. A Maltese licence would be a material point in its favour; it is exactly the claim a weak operator, or a copycat site using its name, would want to make.
The lesson travels beyond this brand. Licence claims on review pages are cheap. A licence is real when the regulator's own register says so.
How to check a casino or bookmaker licence yourself
- Scroll to the footer and note the company name and licence number. If neither is there, stop.
- Click the regulator's seal. It should open a page on the regulator's own website, not an image or a page on the casino's domain.
- Search the regulator's public register for the company name. For betting in Ireland that is the GRAI register; our licensing guide explains what it shows.
- Read the restricted-territories clause in the terms for Ireland.
Goldenbet fails at step one for us, because the site would not load.
Goldenbet casino, sportsbook and app
The Goldenbet casino searches outnumber the review searches, but we hold no confirmed product list, no confirmed app in the Irish App Store or Google Play, and no payment methods we could source.
Bonus codes, free spins and the no deposit question
Queries for a Goldenbet promo code, bonus code, free spins or no deposit bonus are common. None appears here while the verdict is swerve, and without terms we could not tell you the wagering, the maximum cashout or the expiry. Offers on unlicensed sites also sit outside the inducement rules in the Gambling Regulation Act 2024, which in any case were not yet in force in October 2026. Our bonuses section covers offers from brands whose terms we could read.
Withdrawals and sister sites
Payout times, limits and verification steps live in the terms, and we have not seen them. Goldenbet withdrawal complaints would go to the operator and then to Curacao, if the licence is what reviews say. No Irish body would be involved.
As for sister sites: the operator is unconfirmed, so any list of sister brands would be guesswork. Our sister sites page explains how groups are traced from licence holders.
Is Goldenbet legit? Our verdict
We cannot call it legit and will not call it safe. A brand that cannot be reached, shows no licence of its own and is backed only by second-hand claims gets a swerve. Its form line reflects that, with the licence figure at the bottom of the scale.
18+ only. If a site makes it hard to find out who runs it, it will make it hard to complain too; our responsible gambling page lists Irish support if betting has become a problem.
Readers' questions
- Is Goldenbet licensed by the GRAI?
- No. It is not on the GRAI register of betting licensees, and it was not on Revenue's legacy list of remote bookmakers either.
- Does Goldenbet hold a Malta licence?
- We found no reliable evidence of one. The pages claiming a Malta Gaming Authority licence were copied spam pages. Reviews name a Curacao licence held by Santeda International B.V., which we could not confirm on the operator's own site.
- Where can I find a Goldenbet bonus code?
- Not here. A swerve verdict keeps offers off the page, and the terms that would govern any code were not available to read.
