Librabet Review: Casino and Sportsbook With No Licence on Show
Librabet runs a casino and a sportsbook, shows no licence or company in its footer and does not exclude Ireland. Taking bets in Ireland without a GRAI licence is an offence under the 2024 Act. Swerve.

Librabet is an online casino and sportsbook with no licence or operating company on show, and no Irish licence of any kind. Our Librabet review comes down firmly on swerve, chiefly because its sports betting reaches Irish customers without the GRAI licence that every online bookmaker serving Ireland has needed since 1 July 2026.
Librabet casino and sportsbook: the paperwork
The site describes itself as an online casino and sports betting site for over-18s. Its footer shows the brand name and an 18+ sign, nothing more: no company, no regulator, no licence number. Third-party reviews claim a Curacao licence. No register we checked confirms it, so for now it is a claim.
The General Terms, version 1.12, list excluded jurisdictions in section 2.3. Ireland is not among them, so the site appears to accept Irish residents.
Why the Librabet sportsbook matters in Ireland
For casino games, no operator anywhere holds an Irish licence yet; gaming licensing is expected in early 2027. Betting is a different matter. The Gambling Regulation Act 2024 made the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland the licensing body for all betting, and since 1 July 2026 a remote betting licence from the GRAI is required to take bets from people in Ireland. The register lists some forty licences. Librabet holds none of them.
The Act makes providing gambling without a licence an offence, and gives the courts power to order blocking of an unlicensed operator's internet services, advertising and payments. If a site like this stops opening, or a card payment to it is declined, that may well be the reason. It is a signal to stop, not a technical fault to work around.
A punter who wants a bet on the hurling or the racing has plenty of licensed firms to choose from in our betting section. The licensing guide shows how to check a firm against the register in a couple of minutes.
What a GRAI licence would give you that Librabet does not
The provisions already in force for licensed bookmakers are not glamorous, but they are real. A licensee must let you set monetary limits on your account under section 164 of the Act. It may not take a credit card or any other form of credit for a bet under section 165. It must verify your identity and age under the 2026 regulations. And if a dispute goes wrong, the GRAI has complaint and enforcement powers, with fines of up to EUR 20 million or 10% of turnover. None of that follows your stake to Librabet.
Librabet bonus and no deposit offers
Searches for a Librabet bonus and no deposit bonus are modest but steady. We publish no amounts or codes for it. Offer on file: . A bonus is only as good as whoever enforces its terms, and at Librabet that is the operator alone, with no regulator we can name standing behind a dispute. Our bonus guide covers the terms to read wherever you play.
Librabet app and withdrawals
No app store listing for Ireland is confirmed, and payment methods and withdrawal times could not be read from the operator. Withdrawal time on file: . Do not install an app from a download link on the site itself; an app the official stores have not listed carries no store review and no store refund route.
Is Librabet legit?
A business that will not name itself in its own footer is hard to call legitimate. The casino side has no confirmed regulator; the sportsbook side lacks the licence Irish law requires. No sister sites are confirmed. Its form line carries our lowest licence figure, and the rest is not strong enough to rescue it.

Readers' questions
- Is Librabet licensed in Ireland?
- No. It holds no GRAI betting licence, its footer names no licence at all, and a Curacao claim in third-party reviews is unconfirmed.
- Does Librabet accept Irish players?
- Ireland is not on the excluded jurisdictions list in section 2.3 of its General Terms, so it appears to. That does not make it licensed for Ireland.
- Why might Librabet not open in Ireland?
- The 2024 Act lets the courts order blocking of unlicensed operators' websites and payments. A site that stops opening may be subject to such an order.
