MegaCasino Review: A Malta Licence, and What It Covers in Ireland
A Malta-licensed casino from the Skill On Net stable with a decent regulator behind it and a thin public record. Worth watching, not yet worth recommending to Irish players.

This MegaCasino review comes down to one fact: the casino trades under a Malta Gaming Authority licence held by Skill On Net Limited, and it has no Irish licence because Ireland does not yet issue one for online casinos. That makes it a foreign-licensed site with a respectable regulator and a thin public record, and our verdict is watch rather than a firm recommendation.
Its own website answered our research with an error page. The restricted-countries list and the full terms went unread. What follows is built from regulator data and the operator record we hold, and gaps are marked as gaps.
Who runs MegaCasino
Register data ties the international MegaCasino site to Skill On Net Limited, a Malta licensee. The same company holds separate licences for local versions of the brand: a UK Gambling Commission account for the British site, and Danish, Swedish and Alberta licences for domains aimed at those markets. The licence on file reads: Malta Gaming Authority MGA/CRP/171/2009 (megacasino.com); UKGC 039326-R-319358-063 for megacasino.co.uk.
No source we hold lists Ireland as a restricted country. None confirms Irish acceptance either. Treat availability as likely but unconfirmed until the operator's own terms say so in writing.
MegaCasino and the Irish licensing gap
The Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland began issuing remote betting licences on 1 July 2026. Gaming licences, the kind that would cover casino, slots and bingo, are expected from early 2027. Until then there is no Irish licence for any online casino, MegaCasino included, and a player here who falls out with the site complains to Malta, not to an Irish body. Our guide to the GRAI register sets out who holds what today.
Malta is an established regulator with a complaints route and rules on player funds, which is why this brand sits above the Curacao and Anjouan names elsewhere in our reviews. It is still a foreign licence. The difference shows when a withdrawal stalls and you need someone with authority to answer a letter.
MegaCasino bonus, free spins and promo codes
We hold no confirmed welcome offer for Irish players and no promo code. Offer on file: . Code on file: . Searches for a MegaCasino no deposit bonus or free spins tend to land on pages quoting UK or Nordic deals; those sit under local licences and do not travel. Read wagering, maximum stake and expiry in the operator's terms before accepting anything, and set them against the general rules on our bonuses page.
MegaCasino app, cashier and payouts
We have no confirmed Google Play or App Store listing for Ireland, and the payment list and payout times were not readable. The table shows the operator record; a blank cell means unconfirmed, not missing.

One legal point applies. The Gambling Regulation Act 2024 bans credit cards for gambling with Irish licensees, but a Malta-licensed casino follows Maltese rules on payment methods, so its cashier may look different. Send identity documents early; a first withdrawal is the usual point where verification holds things up.
Sister sites under Skill On Net
MegaCasino is one of several brands on the same licence holder. Our operator files name Skill On Net Limited behind KnightSlots, Luna Casino and Megaways Casino, all foreign-licensed and rated watch, and behind PlayJango and Zingo Bingo, whose Irish position is still unclear. Shared ownership usually means a shared cashier and shared terms, so a complaint pattern at one tends to repeat at the others. Our sister sites list groups casinos by operator.
Is MegaCasino legit?
Legitimate in the sense of holding a real licence from a European regulator: yes, on the register data in our files. Licensed for Ireland: no, because the category does not exist yet. Its form line reflects a reasonable licence mark and middling marks elsewhere, mostly for want of confirmed detail rather than for anything found against it. The rating method explains the figures.
MegaCasino review: the verdict
Watch. The Malta licence puts it in the better half of casinos reachable from Ireland, but unread terms and unconfirmed Irish acceptance hold it short of a firm recommendation. If you go ahead, read the country clause before registering.
