Pub Casino Review: A British Casino With an Irish Question Mark

L&L Europe runs Pub Casino under Malta and British licences, in sterling, for a British audience. Irish players are not excluded on the evidence, but the fit is awkward.

Pub Casino: review

Pub Casino is a British-facing online casino run by L&L Europe Ltd of Mosta, Malta, under licences from the Malta Gaming Authority and the UK Gambling Commission; it has no Irish licence. This Pub Casino review rates it a watch: properly regulated abroad, but built in sterling for British players, with Irish acceptance unconfirmed in its own terms.

Pub Casino review: who holds the licences

The site describes itself as a UK online casino. Trade sources say L&L Europe Ltd holds the British licence for customers in Great Britain and the Malta licence for everyone else: Malta Gaming Authority MGA/B2C/211/2011 and UK Gambling Commission 38758. Both regulators keep public registers and run complaint procedures with teeth, which places Pub Casino well above the offshore crowd in the casino market.

For a player in Ireland it is the Malta licence that would apply. That is a reasonable standard while Ireland itself licenses no casinos; the GRAI expects gaming licensing to begin in early 2027. It is not an Irish licence, and a complaint would travel to Malta, not to an Irish body.

The Revenue licence that is not what it seems

A detail that confuses searches: L & L Europe Limited held a Revenue remote bookmaker's licence under the old Irish regime. That was a betting licence, it was not linked to Pub Casino on the register, and since 1 July 2026 remote betting has been licensed by the GRAI instead. Pub Casino offers no sportsbook in any case. None of it amounts to an Irish casino licence. Our licensing guide explains the old and new registers.

Sterling, British bonuses and Irish players

Three facts shape the Irish experience. Accounts run in pounds sterling only, according to a major casino directory, so a euro deposit would be converted, typically with a fee or margin from your bank or card issuer. Bonuses are reported as available to British customers only. And the terms, which did not render for our editors, are where Irish eligibility would be stated. No source lists Ireland as restricted, and one large review community recommends the brand to UK and Irish residents, but that falls short of confirmation.

If you are considering an account, read the permitted-territories clause and the currency rules first, and expect no welcome offer: . A blank space there means no offer has been confirmed for Ireland.

Games, app and withdrawals

The pub theme is cosmetic; underneath is a casino lobby of slots and table games. We do not list game counts or providers we could not confirm. No app is confirmed from an operator-linked store listing, and no withdrawal time is published in sources we could read: . Malta rules require identity checks before a payout, so have documents ready if you play. A sterling account also means a euro withdrawal is converted on the way back, so a win shrinks twice if rates move against you between deposit and payout.

L&L Europe sister sites

Any other brand licensed to L&L Europe Ltd would count as a sister site, sharing its regulators and complaint routes. We have not mapped such brands from the operator's own pages. The sister sites page explains how to trace a group through its licence holder.

Pub Casino verdict: watch

Pub Casino is properly regulated in Malta and Great Britain, which counts for a good deal. It is also a British product that treats Ireland as an afterthought, in sterling, without bonuses for Irish players and with eligibility unconfirmed. Its form line is middling for that reason. Irish players will usually do better with a casino that runs accounts in euro, from our casino rankings.
