Rainbet Review: An Anjouan Licence and No Irish Cover

Rainbet runs a casino and a sportsbook from an Anjouan licence and appears to take Irish customers. It holds no GRAI betting licence, so our verdict is a plain swerve.

Rainbet: review

Rainbet is an offshore casino and sportsbook licensed in Anjouan, part of the Union of the Comoros, and on the evidence of its own terms it accepts customers from Ireland. This Rainbet review reaches a short conclusion: it holds no licence from the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland, so a punter here has no Irish protection, and our verdict is swerve.

Rainbet is one of the most searched casino names in Ireland. Popularity is not a licence. What follows sets out what is known about the company, what is not, and why the gaps matter more than any welcome offer.

Rainbet review in brief

  • Operator: RBGAMING N.V., also named as Rain Group Ltd. in the site disclaimer.
  • Licence: an Anjouan online gaming licence; the number was not confirmed from the operator's own pages.
  • Products: casino, live casino and a sportsbook.
  • Irish status: not on the GRAI register, not on the old Revenue register of remote bookmakers.
  • Verdict: swerve. No link from us.

Who is behind Rainbet casino

Two corporate names appear on the site's legal pages. The terms name RBGAMING N.V.; the disclaimer adds Rain Group Ltd. Disputes, according to those pages, are governed by the law of Anjouan in the Comoros. We could not fetch the domain directly, so the details come from search copies of the operator's terms, disclaimer and sportsbook rules rather than a clean reading of the live site. No founding year, owner or head office address was confirmed, and we do not guess at them.

One name causes confusion. A firm called Skyrainbet appeared on the Revenue register of licensed remote bookmakers. It is a different company and has nothing to do with Rainbet. Anyone checking registers should not mistake one for the other.

Is Rainbet legit for players in Ireland?

Legit in the narrow sense that it names a company and an offshore licensing authority. Not legit in the sense an Irish punter should care about. Since 1 July 2026 every online bookmaker taking bets from people in Ireland needs a GRAI remote betting licence, and Rainbet's sportsbook does not hold one. Its casino side could not hold an Irish licence even if it wanted one, because gaming licences are not expected from the GRAI until early 2027; the reputable casino brands serving Ireland meanwhile operate under Malta or Great Britain licences, which carry real complaint and enforcement machinery.

The Gambling Regulation Act 2024 makes it an offence to provide gambling without a licence, with fines and up to eight years in prison for the provider, and it lets the regulator go to the High Court for orders blocking an unlicensed operator's website, advertising and payments. That is enforcement aimed at the business, not the customer. It still affects the customer: a site that can be blocked, or lose its card processing, is a poor place to leave a balance. Our guide to Irish gambling licences explains the register and the timetable.

Rainbet Ireland searches and blocked pages

People searching for Rainbet in Ireland are often trying to work out whether they can sign up. Some report that the site will not load. If it does not, the reason may be a country restriction by the operator, a payment or network block, or a court order against an unlicensed provider. None of those is a problem to engineer around. A block is information: it tells you the operator is not authorised where you are, and that nothing you deposit is covered by Irish rules.

Restricted countries, and why Ireland is not on the list

Search copies of the Rainbet terms list its restricted territories: the USA, France, the Netherlands and the Dutch Caribbean, Australia, Austria, Germany, the UK and Spain. Ireland is missing, which is why Irish players appear to be accepted. Most of those are markets with strict regulators and active enforcement. Ireland's absence reflects the newness of its regime, not any approval by it.

Rainbet bonus, promo code and free spins

We did not confirm a Rainbet welcome offer, so the field below stays empty unless verified data arrives: . The same applies to a Rainbet promo code (), a no deposit bonus or a batch of free spins. Codes posted on forums and in video descriptions are not verified by anyone with a duty to you.

Two points belong in any discussion of an offshore bonus. First, wagering terms are set and interpreted by the operator, and the only body to appeal to is a regulator in the Comoros. Second, the Act's rules on inducements, when they are commenced, will bind GRAI licensees; an unlicensed operator sits outside that system altogether. A bonus you cannot enforce is just a number on a banner. Our bonus explainer covers what to check on a licensed site.

The Rainbet app and withdrawals

No Rainbet app for Android or iPhone was confirmed in the operator data; if one is listed later it will show here: . The site runs in a browser.

Payment methods, the minimum deposit and Rainbet withdrawal times were not confirmed either. On a licensed site, slow payouts can be taken up with the regulator. Here the escalation route, if one exists, leads to Anjouan. That is the single practical reason its form line sits so low on payments: not proof of slow payouts, simply no Irish route if a payout goes wrong.

Rainbet sister sites

We found no confirmed sister brands for Rainbet. The only near-namesake on an Irish register, Skyrainbet, is unrelated. If you want to know which licensed brands share an owner, our sister sites list covers the groups whose links are on record.

Licensed alternatives for Irish punters

For sport and racing, the choice is simple: use a bookmaker on the GRAI register. Our betting section lists them, and every one of them must offer deposit limits under section 164 of the Act. For casino play, no brand is licensed in Ireland yet, so pick one regulated in Malta or Great Britain; the casino rankings sort them by the quality of that foreign licence.

Verdict on Rainbet: swerve

An offshore licence, an unconfirmed licence number, an unread payments page and no Irish recourse. Rainbet earns a swerve and no link from this desk. Gambling here is strictly 18+; if betting has stopped being a pastime, the people listed on our safer gambling page can help.

Readers' questions

Is Rainbet licensed in Ireland?
No. Rainbet is not on the GRAI register and was not on the old Revenue register. Its pages point to an Anjouan licence held by RBGAMING N.V.
Does Rainbet accept players from Ireland?
Ireland is not on the restricted-countries list in search copies of its terms, so Irish players appear to be accepted, but without any Irish protection.
Is Skyrainbet the same company as Rainbet?
No. Skyrainbet appeared on the Revenue register of remote bookmakers and is a separate firm.
Where can I complain about a Rainbet withdrawal?
Not to an Irish body. Its terms put disputes under Anjouan law, so any complaint goes to the operator and then to the Comoros licensing authority.
Is there a Rainbet promo code worth using?
We do not publish codes for unlicensed operators. Any code you find online is unverified and its terms cannot be enforced through an Irish regulator.
