RCasino Review: An Anjouan Licence and No Irish Cover
RCasino takes sign-ups from Ireland under a licence issued on Anjouan in the Comoros, held by a Costa Rican company. No Irish regulator stands behind it, and our verdict is to swerve it.

This RCasino review turns on one fact: the site operates under a licence from Anjouan, one of the islands of the Union of Comoros, and holds no Irish licence of any kind. It appears to accept customers from Ireland, yet an Irish punter who signs up has no Irish regulator to turn to, which is why the desk's verdict is swerve.
RCasino draws far more Irish searches than most brands of its kind. That is a reason to set out plainly what the site is, not a reason to send anyone there.
Who runs RCasino
The footer of the operator's site names Green Champions Leader SRL, a company in Costa Rica, as the business behind RCasino, and quotes licence ALSI-202502014-FI1 from the Government of the Autonomous Island of Anjouan. The main address forwards visitors to a second address carrying a number in its name. We do not publish addresses for offshore brands, and a site that shifts between domains is one more thing to weigh before handing over a card number.

Is RCasino legit in Ireland?
It holds a licence, so it is not a site with no paperwork at all. The paperwork simply comes from the wrong place for an Irish customer. Since 1 July 2026 any online bookmaker serving people in Ireland needs a remote betting licence from the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland, and RCasino runs a sportsbook without one. It was not on the old Revenue list of remote bookmakers either.
The casino side is a different story. Nobody holds an Irish online casino licence, because the GRAI does not expect to begin licensing gaming until early 2027. In the meantime the useful question for any casino is how good its foreign regulator is. An Anjouan licence sits near the bottom of that list: cheap to obtain, light on supervision, and with no record of resolving disputes for Irish customers.
The GRAI has had enforcement powers since February 2026, including the right to seek High Court orders blocking the websites and payments of unlicensed operators. Should RCasino stop loading for Irish visitors one morning, that is the law doing its job. Money left in an account at that point is a matter between you and a company in Costa Rica.
What an Anjouan licence does not give you
The protections written into the Gambling Regulation Act 2024 bind GRAI licensees. They do not reach a Costa Rican company with a Comoros licence. In practice that means:
- no duty under Irish law to let you set deposit limits, which licensed bookmakers must offer;
- no Irish ban on gambling with credit, which has applied to licensees since February 2026;
- no Irish age and identity checks set by regulation;
- no Irish body to hear a complaint about a voided bet or a withheld withdrawal.
A dispute would go to the Anjouan licensing office, if it goes anywhere. Our licensing guide lays out the register and what each licence type covers.
Checking the register yourself
You do not need to take our word for any of this. The GRAI publishes its register of gambling licensees, with a downloadable list. Each entry gives the legal entity, the licence number, the activity (remote betting, betting intermediary or in-person betting), the dates of validity and the trading names. A bookmaker entitled to take Irish bets online appears there under a remote betting entry. Search the list for RCasino or for Green Champions Leader SRL and you will find neither. The same check takes a minute for any brand you are unsure of, and it is a better habit than trusting a badge in a site footer.
RCasino sports betting and casino
The footer mentions a sports welcome bonus alongside the casino, so the sportsbook is plainly part of the pitch. Whether horse racing is priced, and on what terms, we could not confirm. Live casino coverage is also unconfirmed. For racing and GAA there is no need to look offshore: the licensed bookmakers on our betting pages price the same events under Irish rules, with Irish-registered complaints routes.
RCasino bonus, promo code and free spins
The only offer we can place on the record is the sports welcome bonus named in the footer. Amounts, wagering, codes and expiry dates are not on our file, and we would not print them for a brand we advise against. No RCasino no deposit bonus or free spins deal has been confirmed from the operator's pages.
Weigh any offshore bonus against one test: what happens at the withdrawal. Bonus terms are interpreted by the operator, and with no independent adjudicator in Ireland a disputed reading of a wagering clause ends where the operator says it ends. The Act's ban on targeted inducements is not yet in force, and in any case it would apply to licensees, not to RCasino. Our bonus pages deal only with foreign-licensed casinos and GRAI-licensed bookmakers.
Withdrawals and payments
Payment methods, minimum deposits and payout times were not confirmed from the operator, so this page lists none of them. Read the terms on verification and withdrawal limits before a first deposit, not after a first win. Under a GRAI licence those rules are regulated. Here they are whatever the current terms say.
RCasino app
No RCasino app listing on Google Play or the App Store is on our file. The site runs in a mobile browser. Treat any download offered from outside the official stores with suspicion; installing an unvetted file is a risk to the phone as well as the bankroll.
RCasino sister sites
We have no other brand on file under Green Champions Leader SRL, so we cannot name sister sites with any confidence. If you came looking for alternatives with a stronger regulator, our sister sites page groups casino brands by their Malta or UK licence holder.
RCasino review verdict
Swerve. The licence is real but foreign and weak, the operator sits in Costa Rica, and the sportsbook runs without the GRAI licence Irish law now requires. Its form line, shown in the box beside this review, reflects that.
Gambling is for adults: 18+ only, whoever holds the licence. If betting has stopped being fun, Gamblers Anonymous Ireland runs meetings every day and answers its helpline from 10am to 10pm; more contacts are on our safer gambling page.
Readers' questions
- Is RCasino licensed in Ireland?
- No. It operates under an Anjouan (Comoros) licence held by Green Champions Leader SRL of Costa Rica, and it is not on the GRAI register.
- Can people in Ireland sign up to RCasino?
- Ireland is not on the site's list of blocked countries, so it appears to accept Irish customers. That does not bring Irish protection with it.
- Who do I complain to about RCasino?
- Not to an Irish body. Complaints would go to the operator and then to the Anjouan licensing office, which has no track record with Irish customers.
- Does RCasino have a promo code?
- None is on our file, and we do not publish offers for brands we rate swerve.
