Spinland Review: A Maltese-Licensed Casino, Short on Detail

Spinland's terms point to a Malta Gaming Authority licence, with UK and Swedish licences for those markets. That is sound paper, but Irish access and the licensee name are unconfirmed.

Spinland: review

In this Spinland review the licence comes first: the casino's terms say its gambling is licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority, with a UK Gambling Commission account for Great Britain and a Swedish licence for Swedish customers. It holds no Irish licence, because Ireland has no casino licence to give, and whether it accepts players from Ireland was not confirmed when the desk checked.

That puts Spinland in a better position than most of the casinos in this part of our reviews. It is still a casino-only brand with gaps in what we could verify, and the verdict is watch.

Spinland review: the licence picture

The Malta Gaming Authority is a European regulator with a public register, its own complaints procedure and a record of fining and suspending licensees. A casino under its licence must show the licensee's name and number in the footer. We saw the MGA named in Spinland's terms through a search snippet but could not fetch the site itself, so the licensee name and the licence numbers were not captured. Those are the first things to look for if you visit.

None of this is an Irish licence. The GRAI has issued no gaming licences and expects to begin in early 2027; until then every casino available in Ireland runs on foreign paper, and the question is how good that paper is. Our licensing guide explains the gap.

Is Spinland open to Irish players?

The restricted territories we saw in Spinland's terms include Australia, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United States. Ireland was not among them. The list is open-ended, though, and we could not read it in full, so absence from the part we saw is not a confirmation. Check the restricted-countries clause from an Irish connection before you register, and if the site turns you away, take it at its word.

Spinland is not on Revenue's legacy list of remote bookmakers either. That is expected for a casino-only brand: the Revenue licence, like the GRAI remote betting licence that replaced it on 1 July 2026, covers betting and never covered casino games.

Spinland casino: what it offers

Spinland is a casino brand only. Our records show no sportsbook and no horse racing, so there is nothing here for a punter wanting a bet on Leopardstown. Live casino, game providers and payment methods were not confirmed.

Minimum deposit on our records: . Withdrawal time on our records: . Where either is blank, we had no source for it.

Spinland app and mobile

We have no confirmed Spinland app in the Irish App Store or on Google Play. Many MGA-licensed casinos run their mobile product in the browser rather than as a store app.

Bonus terms and promotions

Spinland publishes promotion terms, which is where we found the licence reference. Any current welcome offer on our records shows here: . Read the wagering requirement, the maximum bet while a bonus is active and the expiry before you accept anything; our bonuses section explains each.

Spinland sister sites

Without a confirmed licensee name we cannot say which casinos share Spinland's operator. Once you have the company name from the footer, the MGA register will list the other domains it holds. Our sister sites page walks through that check.

Is Spinland legit? Verdict

The licences named in its terms are real regulators of the stronger kind, and that counts. What keeps Spinland at watch is what we could not see: the licensee, the licence numbers, the full restricted list and the payments. Its form line reflects a fair licence mark and average figures elsewhere. If you check those points and they stand up, it is a reasonable casino to consider under a European licence, not an Irish one.
