Swifty Sports Review: A Dublin Bookmaker Off the GRAI Register
Swifty Sports traded under a Revenue licence until the old system closed on 30 June 2026. It is not on the GRAI register, so for now it has no Irish licence and stays on watch.

This Swifty Sports review opens with a status rather than a sales pitch: on 29 October 2026 Swifty Sports is not on the register of the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland, so it does not hold a current Irish licence. In June the picture was different, with Swifty Sports Limited of Sandyford, Dublin on Revenue's list of remote bookmakers, and that gap between then and now is why our verdict is watch.
It is an unusual case. Most brands without a GRAI licence are offshore outfits that never had an Irish connection. This one is a Dublin company that did.
Who is behind Swifty Sports
The company is Swifty Sports Limited, with an address in Sandyford, Dublin. The brand belongs to Swifty Global. Trade press reports that Swifty Global launched the Irish site on 12 November 2024, and the site's own title advertises a sportsbook and a casino. That is the extent of the confirmed product picture.
Swifty Sports in Ireland: what changed on 1 July 2026
Revenue's register of remote bookmakers, as at 30 June 2026, lists Swifty Sports Limited under licence 1020669, trading through its .ie site. That licence belonged to the old system. Revenue no longer issues remote bookmaker's licences, and from 1 July 2026 any online bookmaker taking bets from Ireland needs a remote betting licence from the GRAI under the Gambling Regulation Act 2024.
The old licence did not carry over by itself. Swifty Sports is missing from the official GRAI register copied by the desk on 29 October 2026, and from a third-party copy dated the day before. We hold no record of whether an application is pending, and we do not speculate about one.
The Act treats providing gambling without a licence as an offence, and the GRAI can seek court orders against unlicensed operators covering their websites, advertising and payments. How Swifty Sports is trading today is not something our file confirms. The register is the test we apply.
Is Swifty Sports legit?
As a business, it has a real Irish address, a named parent and a licensing history. As a place to bet from Ireland today, it lacks the one document that matters since July. A punter with a balance there should know that the GRAI complaints route and the statutory deposit-limit tools apply to licence holders, and a firm off the register is outside that frame. Our licensing explainer shows how to read the register yourself.
Sportsbook and casino
The site advertises both. Whether racing, live betting or lotto markets are on offer is not confirmed. On the casino side there is a further point that applies to every brand, licensed or not: the GRAI has issued no gaming licences and expects to start in early 2027, so no online casino in Ireland holds an Irish gaming licence. Our file names no foreign casino licence for Swifty Sports either.
App, bonus and withdrawals
Searches for a Swifty Sports app, a promo code and a no deposit bonus are steady. None is confirmed in our file: no app listing, no welcome offer, no payment methods, no payout times. We print no codes or amounts we cannot source, and we would not point anyone to an offer from a bookmaker that is off the register. Licensed alternatives are ranked on our betting page.
Swifty Sports sister sites
Swifty Global is the only group name on file, and no other brand we cover is tied to it by a confirmed record. The sister sites page only groups brands where a shared operator is documented.
Swifty Sports review verdict: why watch
Watch is a holding verdict, not a soft recommendation. Its form line still reflects the Revenue licence it held until June; the rest of the figures sit mid-table because so little is confirmed. A GRAI listing in the company's name would send this page back for a full rewrite. Continued absence from the register would move it the other way.
