Sweet Bonanza 1000 Slot Review: Candy, Tumbles and Bombs
The sweet-shop slot with its multiplier bombs raised to 1,000x. The base game is a tumble machine; everything that matters happens in the free spins round, which is worth knowing before anyone reaches for the buy button.

The Sweet Bonanza 1000 slot is Pragmatic Play's reworked candy game: a six-by-five grid that pays for eight or more matching sweets anywhere, with multiplier bombs worth up to 1,000x that appear only in free spins. That last detail shapes the whole game. The base game pays modestly and the free spins round carries the weight.
How Sweet Bonanza 1000 slot works
Symbols are fruit and sweets. Wins come from count, not lines: eight or more of one symbol anywhere on the thirty positions pays. Winning symbols are removed and others tumble in, and the chain carries on while new wins form.
Lollipop scatters trigger the bonus. Four or more open the free spins round, and three or more landing during the round add five more, according to the paytable.
The bombs
During free spins, multiplier bombs can drop onto the grid. When a tumble sequence ends with a win, every bomb on screen is added together and the total multiplies that sequence's win. A bomb that lands in a sequence with no win does nothing. In the original Sweet Bonanza the bombs topped out at 100x; here the ceiling is 1,000x.
What the 1000 changes, and what it does not
Grid, scatter rule and tumble are as before. The change is entirely in the bombs, and that pushes more of the game's value into rare, large rounds. It does not make a free spins round more likely to land, nor more likely to pay back its trigger cost. Players who enjoyed the original for its tempo may find this version leaves more sessions empty-handed.
Sweet Bonanza 1000 demo and free play
Most of the interest in this game is in the demo, and fair enough: a round of free spins with bombs is easier to understand watched than described. Use the demo for that. Play credits have no cash value and the outcomes in free play carry no information about real-money sessions.
Bonus buy, ante bet and the RTP
Many casino versions include an ante bet and a feature buy; others leave the buy out to suit their market. If yours has the buy, the price is on the button as a multiple of the stake. A 100x price at 20c is EUR 20 for one round, with no promise of getting it back.
For the RTP and the published maximum win, open the game's info panel at your casino. Pragmatic supplies more than one RTP setting, and the panel shows the one in use.
The Irish angle
Online casinos are not yet licensed in Ireland; the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland says gaming licences should start in early 2027. Sites offering Sweet Bonanza 1000 to Irish customers do so under licences from Malta, Gibraltar or Great Britain, so a complaint goes to that regulator. See our casino rankings for brands with a traceable licence and the free spins guide if an offer is tied to this game.

Readers' questions
- Do multiplier bombs appear in the base game?
- No. In Sweet Bonanza 1000 the bombs are a free spins feature. The base game pays through scatter wins and tumbles only.
- How many free spins does Sweet Bonanza 1000 award?
- Four or more lollipop scatters trigger the round, and three or more landing during it add five spins, per the game rules. The starting spin count is in the paytable.
- Is Sweet Bonanza 1000 different from Sweet Bonanza?
- The rules are the same; the bombs in the 1000 version reach 1,000x instead of 100x, which changes how wins are spread.
