18+ only. Gambling can become a problem. Set a limit before you start. Help and support

The bet365 app is available in Ireland: its App Store listing names the UK and the Republic of Ireland as the markets it serves, and an Android version is published on Google Play. It uses the same account and wallet as the website, under the same GRAI betting licence held by Hillside (Europe) ENC.
The rest of this page covers how to install it safely, what you can pay with, and the controls worth switching on.
Downloading the bet365 app
- iPhone or iPad: open the App Store on an Irish account and search for bet365. Our record of the listing: .
- Android: open Google Play and search for the same name. Our record: .
- Before installing, check the publisher on the listing. Copycat apps imitate the branding.
- Sign in or register, then complete identity and age verification. Licensees must carry out these checks under regulations made under the 2024 Act in July 2026.
- Set a deposit limit straight away, under the account's responsible gambling or limits menu.
Where a record above is blank we hold no confirmed store URL for that date; search the store by name instead.
Why an APK from a third-party site is a bad idea
An Android file downloaded from a site with no link to bet365 may have been altered, and if money goes missing through an unofficial build you have no clear complaint to the Irish regulator. The official store already carries the app, so there is nothing to gain by sideloading.
Paying by phone
bet365's help pages list Apple Pay and Google Pay alongside debit cards, PayPal, Skrill, Neteller, paysafecard and bank transfers. On a phone the wallet options are the quickest, because the card details stay in the wallet. Those help pages are UK-facing, with a note that Irish-registered cards are accepted, so check the cashier in the app for what is offered to your account.
Credit cards are not an option for anyone betting in Ireland: the 2024 Act bans gambling on credit. Withdrawals go back through the cashier; we hold no confirmed Irish payout times, and the operator's own guidance is the reference: .
Sportsbook first, games second
The Irish licence covers the betting side of the app: racing, football, GAA and the rest. Casino, poker and bingo products sit outside it, because the GRAI does not expect to start licensing gaming until early 2027. If you open a casino section from within the app, you are dealing with a product regulated elsewhere. Our licensing explainer covers why.
Racing on the small screen
For racing, the app gives the same BOG concession on UK and Irish races that bet365's promotion terms offer eligible customers on the website. A quick check of the arithmetic: EUR 5 at 9/4 returns EUR 16.25; if the SP is 11/4 and the concession applies, the return is EUR 18.75. A phone in the pocket is a bookie in the pocket
That is the convenience and the problem. Turn on deposit limits and any time reminders the app offers, keep notifications for offers switched off if they tempt you, and remember the National Gambling Exclusion Register is not running yet, so self-exclusion is done operator by operator for now. 18+ only. Support contacts are on our responsible gambling page, and the full bet365 review has the rest of the picture.
