Bets.io holds an Anjouan licence, not an Irish one, and Irish law gives its customers no protection. That is the short answer to this Bets.io review, and the verdict is swerve.
Bets.io casino: the licence trail
The brand's own site and terms returned errors to our fetches, including the recheck on 29 October 2026, so the trail runs through a CryptoSlate profile. It reports that the licence seal on the site resolves to an entry on the Anjouan register: Tessera Limited S.R.L., licence ALSI-202410047-FI2, issued under the Offshore Finance Authority of Anjouan through Anjouan Licensing Services Inc. A second company, Xyrona Limited in Cyprus, is named as payment agent. Licence on file: Anjouan, licence ALSI-202410047-FI2 (Offshore Finance Authority of Anjouan / Anjouan Licensing Services Inc.).
Two companies, two jurisdictions, and neither of them Irish. The payment agent arrangement means the business taking your deposit is not the business holding the licence, which complicates any dispute before it starts.
Does Bets.io accept Irish players?
According to the same profile, its restricted list runs to about 50 countries and Ireland is not on it. We could not read that list on the operator's site. Being reachable from Ireland is one thing; being answerable to anyone in Ireland is another, and Bets.io is not. Anjouan sits at the bottom of the licensing ladder, an island authority in the Comoros with no Irish reach.
Gaming has no Irish licence yet, for any brand, with GRAI gaming licensing expected in early 2027. If Bets.io takes sports bets as well, which we could not confirm, it does so without the GRAI remote betting licence required since July 2026. The licensing guide sets out both rules.
Bets.io promo code and no deposit bonus
Promo codes and a no deposit bonus are the searches people make after the brand. We confirm neither. Offer on file: . Code on file: . Read the bonus terms before the headline figure.
Is Bets.io legit?
It is a licensed business in the narrow sense: a register entry exists in Anjouan, per the profile. That is a long way from a licence an Irish player can lean on. No app listing is confirmed. If it takes crypto deposits, a transfer sent to the wrong address or a disputed withdrawal has no card issuer behind it. If crypto is the attraction, our crypto casinos page sets out what to check first.
Bets.io review verdict
Swerve. Its form line is anchored by our weakest licence score, and nothing else in the file lifts it. No link from us.
