BetVictor Review: Gibraltar Firm, Irish Licence, Racing Promise

BetVictor is licensed in Ireland for betting through BV Gaming Limited, a Gibraltar company that holds GRAI remote betting licence GRAI-0862-RB-26-0001 from 1 July 2026. Is BetVictor legit? On the licence question, yes; on the casino and the promotions, the answer depends on terms you should read first.

BetVictor Ireland: the licence and the company

BV Gaming Limited held a Revenue remote bookmaker's licence before the GRAI took over, and its GRAI licence started on the first day of the new regime. The register entry runs to 30 June 2029: GRAI remote betting licence GRAI-0862-RB-26-0001 (BV Gaming Limited), valid 2026-07-01 to 2029-06-30. A bet settled wrongly can go to the operator's complaints process and, after that, to the GRAI.

BetVictor sister sites

The GRAI register lists one other trading name under the same licence: talkSPORT BET. The older Revenue list also named HeartBingo against BV Gaming Limited. Sister sites share a company and usually a cashier and terms structure, and self-exclusion with one may not cover the other until the national register is running. BetVictor horse racing and best odds

The Irish App Store listing promises best odds on UK and Irish racing. Take a price and, if the starting price comes out bigger and the horse wins, you are paid at the SP. The fine print on qualifying races and any time window sits in the operator's terms.

An example with real numbers: EUR 10 to win at 7/2, and the SP is returned at 9/2. The taken price returns EUR 45; the SP returns EUR 55. Reading the place terms

Best odds apply to the win price; each-way place terms are a separate matter set race by race. A firm that pays 1/5 the odds for three places in an eight-runner non-handicap is paying the standard; an extra place on a big handicap is a promotion and will be labelled as one. Read the terms on the bet slip, not the advert.

Sports beyond racing

The app listing includes slots and live casino alongside sport, and searches for BetVictor casino, slots, games and bingo are steady. None of it is covered by the Irish betting licence, because the GRAI has issued no gaming licences and expects to begin in early 2027. We could not confirm which foreign licence covers Irish players on the casino side. The practical effect: a dispute over a spin or a live table has no Irish regulator to go to today.

We could not confirm any current Irish casino offer, and figures seen on third-party pages are often old or meant for another market.
