Cocobet Review: A Curacao Crypto Casino Without Irish Cover
Cocobet runs on a reported Curacao licence held by a Curacao company, sits on no Irish register and leaves an Irish player with nowhere at home to complain. The verdict is swerve.

Our Cocobet review comes to a short answer: Cocobet has no Irish licence and is not a brand we recommend. The licence reported for it is a Curacao one, held by NewEra Information Technology N.V., so an Irish player who falls out with the operator has no Irish regulator to call, and the verdict is swerve.
The name draws plenty of Irish searches. Searching costs nothing; lodging money with an operator nobody in Ireland supervises is a different matter.
Who runs Cocobet, and on whose licence
A profile on a crypto news site names NewEra Information Technology N.V., a Curacao company (number 163214), as operator and licence holder. It gives the licence as Curacao Gaming Authority OGL/2024/135/0139, granted on 21 June 2024, and reports it as active. The desk has not matched that against the Curacao regulator's own register, so read it as reported, not verified.
There is a second loose end. When our file was compiled, the Cocobet address forwarded visitors to a site spelt Kokobet. Until the official domain is settled, nobody outside the company can say which terms page, which restricted-countries list and which house rules govern an account.
Is Cocobet legit for players in Ireland?
Legit can mean two things. A Curacao licence, if it checks out, means a regulator somewhere has the operator on its books. It does not bring the brand under Irish law. Cocobet is absent from the register kept by the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland (GRAI) and was never on the old Revenue list of remote bookmakers.
For a casino that needs context. No online casino holds an Irish gaming licence, because the GRAI has not begun issuing them; the latest ministerial answer puts gaming licensing in early 2027. The honest comparison is between foreign regulators. A casino under Malta or Great Britain rules answers to a body with published player-protection codes and a complaints process. A Curacao operator answers, at most, to Curacao. Our guide to the Irish licence register lays out the whole frame.
The restricted list quoted in the same profile covers the Netherlands and the Dutch Caribbean, the US, Australia, China, Georgia, Iran, Iraq, Myanmar and North Korea. Ireland is not on it, which is why the brand turns up in Irish searches. Being let in is not the same as being looked after once inside.
Cocobet casino: what is actually confirmed
Very little. Every product flag in our operator file is blank: sports, racing, casino lobby, live dealer tables. Third-party profiles describe Cocobet as a crypto casino, but no payment method is confirmed and we list none. No Cocobet app is confirmed in the store listings we hold either. One practical point stands regardless: a crypto transfer to an offshore operator cannot be pulled back the way a disputed card payment sometimes can.
Bonus, promo code and no deposit searches
People look for a Cocobet promo code, a no deposit bonus and free spins. We print none of them. No terms page was read for this brand, so any number we quoted would be invention, and the wagering and withdrawal rules attached to an offshore offer are enforced by nobody in Ireland. Our bonus pages deal with operators whose licence we can name and check.
The Gambling Regulation Act 2024 also contains a ban on targeted inducements. It was not yet in force in October 2026, and when it does commence it will bind GRAI licensees. An offshore casino sits outside it either way.
Withdrawals when there is a dispute
No withdrawal time is confirmed for Cocobet. If a payout is held, voided or delayed, the line of appeal runs to the operator first and then, perhaps, to the Curacao regulator. The deposit-limit and identity-check duties that bind Irish licensees do not reach it.
Cocobet sister sites
NewEra Information Technology N.V. is the only company name on file, and no other brand we track is tied to it by a confirmed record. We do not guess at stablemates from shared software or a similar lobby. The sister sites list groups brands only where a common operator or licence holder links them.
Cocobet review verdict
Swerve. Its form line shows the licence figure at the weak end of the scale, and nothing in the product file is confirmed well enough to set against it. If the domain is settled and a Malta or UK licence appears, the desk will look again.
Play is for adults, 18+ only. If it has stopped being a pastime, our safer gambling page lists support in Ireland, including Gamblers Anonymous Ireland.
Readers' questions
- Does Cocobet have an Irish licence?
- No. It is on neither the GRAI register nor the old Revenue list. The only licence reported for it comes from Curacao.
- Who operates Cocobet?
- A third-party profile names NewEra Information Technology N.V., a Curacao company, as operator and licence holder. That has not been checked against the Curacao register.
- Can Irish players sign up to Cocobet?
- The restricted list reported for it does not name Ireland. That means a sign-up may be possible, not that Irish law protects the account.
- Is there a Cocobet app?
- None is confirmed in the app store listings we hold.
