Duelbits Review: A Curacao Crypto Casino With No Irish Licence

Duelbits works under a Curacao licence, holds nothing from an Irish regulator and leaves Irish players without local protection. Ireland is missing from its banned list, which is not the same as being safe.

Duelbits: review

Duelbits is an offshore casino licensed in Curacao, with no Irish licence and no Irish regulator standing behind it. Its own help centre leaves Ireland off the list of barred countries, so Irish sign-ups are possible, but our Duelbits review comes down firmly on swerve.

Duelbits review in one table

Item Position
Licence Curacao Gaming Authority (CGA), number not given
Company Liquid Entertainment N.V., according to a third-party review database
GRAI licence None; not on the GRAI register or Revenue's list
Ireland on the restricted list? No, per the operator's help centre
Countries barred UK, US, France, Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Belgium, Australia and others

Is Duelbits legit?

It is a licensed business, but in Curacao, and the Duelbits help centre says as much. That licence answers to an authority in the Caribbean. It does not bring Duelbits under the Gambling Regulation Act 2024, the GRAI's complaint powers, or the fines the Irish regulator can now impose.

Look at the barred list again. Britain, France, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy and Australia all have their own licensing systems, and Duelbits stays out of them. Ireland has no casino licence for Duelbits to stay out of: the GRAI has licensed betting since 1 July 2026 and expects to license casinos only in early 2027. Being allowed in is a gap, not an endorsement. The licensing page sets out what an Irish licence does and does not cover.

What Irish players give up

  • No Irish complaints route. A dispute over a withheld withdrawal goes to the operator and then, at best, to the Curacao authority.
  • No coverage from the Irish rules already in force for licensees, such as the ban on credit cards for gambling and the duty to let customers set money limits.
  • No path into the National Gambling Exclusion Register when it arrives, because that register binds Irish licensees only.

Duelbits crypto casino: the payments question

People search for Duelbits as a crypto casino, and much of its reputation rests on that. Our research could not read the cashier or a confirmed payment list, so we will not print one. The general point holds: crypto deposits are hard to claw back, prices move between deposit and withdrawal, and an offshore operator holding the coins answers to nobody in Ireland. Our crypto casinos page explains why we only rank brands with a European licence there.

Bonus, promo codes and free spins

Searches for a Duelbits welcome bonus, no deposit bonus, free spins or a promo code from Reddit threads turn up plenty of numbers. None is verified for Ireland, and we list none. Codes circulated on forums are often referral links; whatever they unlock, the terms are set offshore and enforced offshore.

App and withdrawals

Our research found no Duelbits app in the Irish app stores and no published withdrawal times. "Duelbits withdrawal" is one of the steadier searches around the brand, which is usually a sign of people waiting on money. Without a regulator in Ireland, waiting is about all a player can do.

Sister sites and alternatives

We found no confirmed sister brands under Liquid Entertainment N.V. If what you want is a casino with a recognised European licence, the online casinos hub ranks only brands licensed in Malta or Britain. None of those is licensed in Ireland either, because no Irish gaming licence exists yet, but each answers to a regulator with real reach.

Duelbits verdict: swerve on licence

Swerve, and no link from this page. A Curacao licence is not a recommendation for an Irish player, and its form line is weakest on licence, the figure that matters most when a casino holds your money. Gambling is 18+ only; deposit limits and time-outs are worth setting before the first stake, and our responsible gambling page lists Irish help that costs nothing.
