Highroller Review: An Old Casino Name Under a New, Unverified Owner
The Highroller that Irish players may remember closed in 2021. The name is trading again under a reported Estonian licence nobody has confirmed with the regulator, so we file it under watch.

Our Highroller review starts with a warning about the name: the Highroller casino that ran under Malta and UK licences shut in October 2021, and the brand now trading on the same domain is a different business. We could not confirm who operates it, which licence it relies on, or whether it takes Irish customers, so the verdict is watch and we offer no link.
That is less than a full review, by design. The site answered our research with an error page, and the third-party material that exists contradicts itself on the points that matter.
Two Highrollers, one domain
The first Highroller belonged to Gaming Innovation Group and was licensed through MT SecureTrade Ltd, with a Malta Gaming Authority licence and a UK Gambling Commission licence. A casino-monitoring source records its closure in October 2021. The same group also ran Thrills, which has since closed too.
The domain is live again. A third-party casino directory names Happy Hour Solutions as the company behind it, under licences from the Estonian Tax and Customs Board. We have not seen that company named on the operator's own pages, and the licence numbers have not been checked against the Estonian register. The record on file reads: Estonian Tax and Customs Board licences HKL000374 and HKT000063 (per casinos.com, not verified with the regulator).
Old reviews, old bonus pages and old complaints about Highroller mostly describe the Gaming Innovation Group casino. None of it tells you much about the current one.
Highroller and Irish law
Highroller has no Irish licence, and could not have one for casino games: the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland licenses only betting so far, with gaming licences expected in early 2027. An Estonian licence, if it is real, is an EU regulator's licence and a step above Curacao or Anjouan. It is not an Irish one, and an Irish player with a grievance would be writing to Tallinn. Our licensing page covers the transition in plain terms.
On whether Irish residents are accepted at all, the one directory that discusses it says yes on one page and no on another. We found no restricted-countries list from the operator.
Highroller casino bonus and promo codes
Searches for a Highroller bonus or no deposit offer turn up figures from both eras of the brand. We hold no confirmed welcome offer and no code. On file: . Any code you find on a forum may date from before 2021 and belong to a casino that no longer exists. The general rules on wagering and expiry are on our bonuses page.
Free spins, withdrawals and an app all sit in the same column: unconfirmed. We have no store listing for a Highroller app in Ireland.
Not the same as a high-roller casino
Part of the traffic for this name comes from punters looking for casinos with large stake limits, and some from a search for Highroller Vegas casino slots, a phrase that may refer to a different product altogether; nothing in our files ties a mobile slots app to this casino. If big limits are what you are after, our high-roller casinos list is built on licence quality first.
Is Highroller legit?
We cannot say yes. A reported EU licence is a better start than none, but an unnamed operator and contradictory claims about Ireland are reasons to wait. Its form line sits mid-table on every count because the facts are missing, not because a complaint was proved. We will revisit when the operator publishes its company name and licence on its own site.
Highroller review verdict
Watch, with no link from us. Prefer a casino whose operator and licence you can read in its footer, and check any sister brands on our sister sites page before assuming a shared name means a shared owner.

Readers' questions
- Is Highroller the same casino that closed in 2021?
- Only in name and domain. The Gaming Innovation Group casino closed in October 2021; the current site is reported to belong to a different company under an Estonian licence.
- Does Highroller hold a licence for Ireland?
- No. Ireland has no online casino licence yet, and Highroller is not on the GRAI register for betting either.
- Does Highroller accept Irish players?
- Unconfirmed. The only directory that discusses it contradicts itself, and the operator's own country list could not be read.
