Magius Review: A Casino With No Regulator on Show

Magius runs a casino, carries sports betting rules in its terms, accepts Ireland according to its own excluded list, and names no company or licence anywhere we could read. That is a swerve.

Magius: review

Magius is an online casino, with sports betting rules in its terms, whose footer and terms name no operating company, regulator or licence number. It holds no Irish licence and nothing on the site shows another one; in this Magius review that makes the verdict swerve, whatever the bonus.

The brand gets searched mostly as Magius casino, with a smaller trail of questions about a no deposit bonus and an app. We take them in that order, after the licence.

What the Magius terms say, and what they leave out

The rules page runs to many sections. Part of it was cut short when we read it, but the parts we could read cover a good deal: an excluded jurisdictions list at section 2.3, withdrawal handling at section 6.15 and sports betting rules at section 17. What is missing is the line that matters most, the name of the company you would be contracting with.

Section 2.3 does not exclude Ireland. It does not exclude the United Kingdom either, which is unusual for any casino that holds a licence in a serious jurisdiction. Taken together, the absence of a named licence and the open door to two tightly regulated markets point one way: offshore.

Magius casino and the sportsbook in Ireland

Two Irish rules apply here, and Magius meets neither.

  • Betting: since 1 July 2026 a bookmaker taking bets online from people in Ireland needs a GRAI remote betting licence. Magius has sports rules in its terms and is not on the register.
  • Casino: no Irish online casino licence exists yet; gaming licensing is expected in early 2027. Until then the test is the foreign licence, and Magius shows none.

It is not on the Revenue register of remote bookmakers either. Our licensing page explains the move from Revenue to the GRAI.

Magius withdrawal times

The terms set out the processing window: Processed within 3 business days of request per terms s.6.15 (finance team Mon-Fri 6am-5pm GMT); verification can take about 10 days. Note the weekday office hours: a request made on a Friday evening waits for the following week. Account verification is separate from that window and can push the first payout back further.

The terms are the only promise on offer. With no regulator named, there is nobody outside the company to enforce them. If a payout is refused, the terms are the only document you can point to, so save a copy on the day you register. A bookmaker licensed by the GRAI must also let customers set limits on remote gambling, under section 164 of the 2024 Act. Magius has no such Irish duty, so any limit tool it offers is a courtesy, not an obligation.

Magius no deposit bonus and promo codes

A no deposit bonus is the most searched offer for this brand. None is confirmed on our file, nor any promo code or free spins deal. Treat offers seen on third-party pages as unverified, and remember that bonus winnings are paid out only if the operator agrees they were earned. Our no deposit guide explains the usual catches.

The Magius app

We have no Magius app listing from Google Play or the App Store on file. The site is built for the mobile browser.

Magius sister sites

With no operator named, no sister brands can be confirmed. See our sister sites page for groups with a confirmed licence holder.

Magius review: where it stands

Swerve. A casino, with sports rules on its books, that will take Irish money but will not say who it is or who regulates it. The form line beside this review shows how that scores.
