Rabona Review: A Sportsbook Missing From the Irish Register
Rabona takes football and casino bets from Irish customers, reportedly on a Curacao licence, but it is not on the GRAI register. For a bookmaker since 1 July 2026, that settles it: swerve.

Rabona is a sportsbook and online casino with no Irish licence: it is not on the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland register, and it was not on Revenue's list of remote bookmakers either. This Rabona review rates it a swerve, because a bookmaker taking Irish bets now needs a GRAI licence and Rabona has not shown one.
The name is a football term, a kick played by wrapping the striking foot behind the standing leg, and the brand leans on football accordingly. The name is the most confident thing about it. Reviews written for Irish readers describe a Curacao licence; the operator's own terms page returned errors when our researchers tried it, so we could not read the licence, the company name or the restricted-country list for ourselves.
Rabona review: the licence question first
For a casino-only brand the Irish position is murky, because gaming licensing has not started. For a sportsbook it is not murky at all. Since 1 July 2026 a remote bookmaker serving Ireland needs a GRAI remote betting licence, and the 2024 Act makes it an offence to provide gambling without one. The register already carries dozens of betting licences. Rabona is not among them.
That matters in practical ways. A GRAI licensee must offer monetary limits and cannot accept a credit card. It answers to an Irish regulator that can fine it and take complaints. A Curacao licensee owes an Irish punter none of that. Our licensing page lists what the new regime requires.
Is Rabona legit, and does it take Irish players?
Third-party reviews say Irish players are accepted, and we have no evidence to the contrary. A Curacao licence of some kind is the consistent claim. Neither point could be checked against the operator's own documents, which is not the standard we would want before handing over a deposit. The licence string as recorded: Curacao (per third-party reviews; not shown on the operator page we could read).
If the site will not load for you, the likeliest reasons are the operator's own country rules or action by a regulator. The 2024 Act lets the GRAI seek High Court orders against unlicensed operators' websites and payments, so Irish blocks on brands like this are possible in future. Do not try to get round a block; the terms of an offshore site usually let it void winnings for doing so.
Rabona casino, bonus and no deposit searches
About a third of the cluster is bonus searches: the Rabona bonus, promo code, free spins and casino no deposit bonus. None of these was confirmed for Ireland. Where an offer is recorded it appears here: . Sports bonuses from offshore books commonly carry rollover terms on both the deposit and the bonus, with minimum odds per selection, and a disputed term has no Irish referee. Our bonuses guide covers what to check.
Rabona app and withdrawals
We have no confirmed Rabona app in either official store, so app searches probably end at the mobile site. Withdrawal times and payment methods were not confirmed. Rabona sister sites could not be traced either, since we could not confirm the company behind the brand.
Licensed alternatives for football punters
Anyone after football markets in Ireland has a full list of GRAI-licensed bookmakers to choose from, all of them answerable to an Irish regulator. Our betting hub ranks them, and the football tips page carries the daily feed.
Our call on Rabona: swerve
A bookmaker that is absent from the Irish register, with a licence known only from other people's reviews, gets no link from us. Betting is for adults, 18+. Whoever you bet with, keep the stake to money you can afford to lose, and use the responsible gambling page if that stops being true.

- No. It is not on the GRAI register of betting licensees and was not on Revenue's earlier list of remote bookmakers.
- What licence does Rabona have?
- Third-party reviews describe a Curacao licence. We could not read it on the operator's own pages.
- Is there a Rabona no deposit bonus?
