Spinboss Review: Four Licence Claims and None We Could Check

Third-party pages credit Spinboss with licences from Curacao, Anjouan, Malta and Britain, which cannot all be true. The site blocked our researchers and names no company. No Irish licence. Swerve.

Spinboss: review

Spinboss has no Irish licence, and we could not establish which licence, if any, it does hold. This Spinboss review rates it a swerve: the pages that write about it disagree on the basics, and the casino itself showed our researchers a geo-block page and a footer with no company name or licence on it.

Spinboss review: too many licences

Depending on which third-party page you read, Spinboss runs under a Curacao sublicence (the 8048/JAZ number is quoted), an Anjouan licence, the Malta Gaming Authority or the UK Gambling Commission. Some of those regulators publish searchable registers; a casino holding an MGA or UKGC licence would normally say so loudly in its footer. Spinboss's footer, as fetched, said nothing of the kind.

Conflicting claims usually mean the pages making them copied from each other, or from an old version of the site, or simply guessed. None of them is a substitute for the operator's own statement, and that statement was not available. Our status for the brand is therefore unclear rather than offshore: we do not know enough to pin it down.

One page presenting itself as a Spinboss licence page sits on a separate domain that is not the casino's own. Licence details belong on the operator's site and, more to the point, on the regulator's register. A licence page hosted elsewhere proves only that someone built it.

Is Spinboss legit for Irish players?

It is not on the GRAI register or Revenue's old list, which for a casino is expected: no Irish gaming licence exists yet, and GRAI gaming licensing is not due until early 2027. Whether Spinboss takes Irish players at all is unknown, since its terms page did not render. If the site will not open for you either, that is the operator's own restriction or a regulator's; respect it rather than looking for a way round. Our licensing guide explains why an unlicensed casino offers no Irish recourse.

Bonus, no deposit offer and app

The few Spinboss searches with any volume are for a no deposit bonus and an app. We confirmed neither. No app appeared in our operator data for the Apple or Google stores. Bonus terms at an unidentified casino are unenforceable in practice; the no deposit guide explains why the small print matters even when the operator is known.

Spinboss verdict: swerve

Four licence stories and no company name add up to no recommendation and no link. Gambling in Ireland is for those aged 18+. If betting or casino play is causing worry, free support is listed on our responsible gambling page.
