The Eye of Horus Megaways slot is Blueprint Gaming's Megaways version of its Egyptian slot: the same theme and Horus wild, set on reels whose height changes every spin so the number of ways to win changes with it. If you know the classic Eye of Horus, the symbols will be familiar and the rhythm will not.
What Megaways does to Eye of Horus
Megaways is a reel engine licensed by Big Time Gaming to other studios. Each reel shows a different number of symbols on each spin, and the ways to win are the product of those counts. A spin with tall reels offers many more ways than a spin with short ones. Wins are paid for matching symbols on adjacent reels from the left, wherever they sit on each reel.
The practical effect is variety. The classic game is a fixed grid with set lines; the Megaways version can look busy and pay little on one spin, then join symbols across a tall screen on the next. Our Megaways slots page explains the engine in general.
Horus wild and free spins
As in the original, the game is built around the Horus symbol acting as a wild that expands, and a free spins round in which landing Horus upgrades the lower-paying symbols to higher ones, according to published game sheets. How many spins are awarded, how retriggers work and which symbols upgrade in which order are set out in the game's paytable. Read it there; versions of Blueprint games can differ between markets, and we would rather not print a rule that does not match your copy.
Eye of Horus Megaways RTP and free play
The info panel inside the game lists the RTP and stake range for the version your casino runs. Blueprint, like most providers, can supply more than one setting. No figure is quoted here for that reason.
Free play versions use play credits. They are the cheapest way to see how the changing reel heights feel, and they have no cash value. Do not read a good demo run as a sign of anything.
Eye of Horus Megaways slot: is there a bonus buy?
We have no verified rules sheet confirming a buy feature for this title, and Blueprint games sold into different markets do not always carry the same options. Look for a buy button in your casino's version and check its price as a multiple of the stake. If it is not there, the version you are playing does not offer it.
Playing from Ireland
Online casino gaming has no Irish licence yet. The Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland expects to start licensing it in early 2027, so any casino with Eye of Horus Megaways in its Irish lobby operates under a foreign licence, typically from Malta or Great Britain, and that regulator handles complaints. The casino rankings show which licence each brand holds.
