The Pirots 4 slot is the fourth game in the Pirots series from ELK Studios, a Swedish studio. Like its predecessors, it is a grid game in which coloured birds travel across the reels collecting gems of their own colour, with cascades and upgrades building towards a feature.
Our file on this instalment is thinner than for older games, so this page sticks to what the series is known for and to the checks you can make yourself inside the game.
What the Pirots 4 slot shares with the series
The Pirots games are collectors, not line slots. Birds land, move to gems that match them and clear them, and each clearance can drop new symbols into the gaps. The interest lies in chains: one collection opening space for the next. Each sequel has varied the setting and the upgrade rules, and Pirots 4 does the same; the in-game rules screen lays out exactly how, and it is worth reading before you stake, because the features are less obvious than on a ten-line game. Its successor has its own page: Pirots 5.
Feature modes and bonus buy
ELK titles commonly carry the studio's X-iter menu, which sells entry to features or boosted modes at a multiple of the base stake. Where a casino offers it, the price is shown before you confirm. Whether it appears at all depends on the casino and its regulator, and some do not allow it. A paid mode is just a larger bet with a different distribution of outcomes, and the cost can far exceed what you would have staked on ordinary spins over the same time.
Pirots 4 RTP: check the setting
We print no RTP or volatility figure for this title, because we hold no provider-published number on file and casinos may run different settings. Paid modes can carry their own return figures, separate from the base game. Open the help screen at your casino and read each one.
The Pirots 4 demo
Demand for the demo outstrips demand for the game itself, which is sensible: a collector mechanic is easier to grasp by watching it. Many casinos show demo play only to logged-in, age-verified customers. The demo's results are random and say nothing about your next real spin.
Licensing for players in Ireland
Any casino offering Pirots 4 to Irish customers does so under a foreign licence. Ireland's gaming regime is not yet open: the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland licenses betting at present and expects to license gaming from early 2027. Read our licensing explainer to see what that means for complaints, and the casinos page for brands sorted by licence strength.
Where we land on Pirots 4
For players who enjoy the series, more of the same with new rules to learn. For anyone new, start with the rules screen and the demo, and be wary of the paid modes. Strictly 18+ play. Our responsible gambling page explains deposit limits and lists Irish support services.
