Trustly Casinos: Paying Straight From an Irish Bank Account
Trustly moves money from your bank to the casino without a card, using your own online banking login. Fast in, often fast out, and no Pay N Play shortcut for Irish players.

A Trustly casino takes deposits directly from your bank account: you pick your bank, log in through its own screens, approve the payment, and the money arrives without a card number changing hands. In our files Trustly is listed by two casino brands, Lucky Pants Bingo (Gibraltar licence) and MegaRush (Malta licence), while Paddy Power and William Hill offer a similar pay-by-bank service and bet365 lists instant bank transfer.
For a player who dislikes cards and e-wallets, it is the tidiest route. It is not a licence, though, and none of these casinos is licensed in Ireland: gaming licences from the GRAI are expected in early 2027.

Best Trustly casinos in our files
Lucky Pants Bingo is run by Rank Interactive (Gibraltar) Ltd under Gibraltar Gambling Commission licences RGL 133 and RGL 134, and states in its terms that it serves the Republic of Ireland. Trustly sits beside Visa debit, Mastercard, PayPal, paysafecard and Apple Pay. It carries an each-way verdict with us. As a bingo site first, with slots, Slingo and live casino behind it, it suits players who want Trustly for small, planned deposits rather than a high-stakes casino. Our Lucky Pants Bingo review covers its terms.
MegaRush is regulated by the Malta Gaming Authority, MGA/CRP/591/2018, and lists Trustly among eight methods. Its FAQ sets a higher minimum for Trustly than for cards, so check the cashier before a small first deposit. The operator's own pages do not confirm Irish acceptance, which is why it carries a watch verdict. Our MegaRush review has the detail.
How a Trustly casino deposit works
- Choose Trustly in the cashier and enter the amount.
- Select your bank from the list Trustly shows. If your bank is not on it, Trustly is not an option for you at that site.
- Log in with your normal online banking credentials, inside the bank's or Trustly's secure window, and approve the payment as you would any transfer.
- The casino is told the payment is coming and credits the account, usually at once.
The casino never receives your banking login. Trustly, a Swedish payments firm, sits between the two and is regulated as a payment institution. Your bank sees an ordinary payment to a gambling merchant, so any gambling block you have set at the bank should stop it.
Trustly withdrawals
Where a casino pays out by Trustly, the money goes back to the same bank account, often quickly once the operator has approved it. The speed is the operator's decision more than Trustly's: pending periods and first-time identity checks come first. Because the deposit came from a verified bank account in your name, some operators need fewer documents later, though none can skip age and identity checks. For the wider picture, see fast withdrawal casinos.
Pay N Play casinos and Trustly: why not here
Searches for Pay N Play and pay and play Trustly casinos come from markets where Trustly can open a casino account straight from bank data, without a separate registration. That model depends on national electronic ID systems and on regulators who accept bank data as identity proof. It is built for those markets, not for Ireland. Irish players register in the usual way, and GRAI licensees must verify identity and age under the Verification of Identity and Age Regulations 2026. A site offering an Irish player instant play with no checks at all is telling you something about its regulator.
Pay by bank at Irish-licensed bookmakers
For betting, the Irish-licensed firms offer their own bank payments. Paddy Power (PPB Counterparty Services Limited) lists Pay by Bank, William Hill (WH Ireland Limited) lists Pay By Bank, and bet365 (Hillside (Europe) ENC) lists instant bank transfer. William Hill states Visa Direct about 4 hours; other debit cards 1-3 working days; Pay By Bank immediate to 1 working day across its methods. Whether a given service runs on Trustly or another provider is the bookmaker's business; to the punter they work the same way, and each of those firms holds a GRAI remote betting licence.
New Trustly casinos and MGA Trustly casinos
New casinos often add Trustly early because it covers many European banks at once. An MGA licence plus Trustly is a common pairing, and a reasonable one, but neither tells you about withdrawal terms, dormant-account fees or how complaints are handled. Read those before chasing a new name. Offshore casinos claiming Trustly but licensed in Curacao or Anjouan hold no Irish licence and get no place on our cards.
Gambling is for over-18s, and every site here is 18+ with age checks. Direct bank payments are frictionless by design, so set a deposit limit first and keep our safer gambling contacts in mind.
