Google Pay Casinos: What Android Players in Ireland Can Use

Google Pay is easy to find at big Irish bookmakers and hard to confirm at casinos. Two GRAI-licensed firms list it; no casino-only brand in our files does.

Google Pay

A Google Pay casino takes a deposit from a card saved in Google Wallet on an Android phone, approved with the phone's lock. For Irish players the honest position is thin: bet365 and BoyleSports, both licensed by the GRAI for betting, list Google Pay, but none of the casino-only brands in our files confirms it in its own payment list.

So this page does two jobs. It explains how Google Pay works at a cashier, and it shows how to check a casino for it yourself rather than trusting a logo on a banner.

Google Pay casino options in October 2026

For a Google Pay online casino, the card below ranks the casino brands we rate highest for Irish players on licence and company. We could not confirm Google Pay at any of them, so treat it as a shortlist to check, not a list of Google Pay casinos.

32Red Casino, Kwiff Casino and Quinn Casino sit inside companies the GRAI has licensed for remote betting; their casinos run on foreign licences. Karamba Casino operates under Malta and Great Britain licences. Lucky Pants Bingo, licensed in Gibraltar, lists Apple Pay but not Google Pay. None is an Irish-licensed casino, because no such licence exists until the GRAI opens gaming licensing, expected in early 2027.

Google Pay or Google Wallet?

The names confuse people. Google Wallet is the app on the phone that stores your cards. Google Pay is the button you press at a checkout, in a shop or online. A casino cashier showing Google Pay is asking Wallet for a card token. If the phone has no card in Wallet, the button will not appear, and a casino that only works in a desktop browser may not show it at all.

Bookmakers with Google Pay and a GRAI licence

Both firms in our files that list Google Pay are licensed in Ireland for betting:

  • bet365 - licence holder Hillside (Europe) ENC. Google Pay sits beside Apple Pay, PayPal, Skrill, Neteller, paysafecard and bank transfer. See the bet365 review.
  • BoyleSports - Boylesports (Gibraltar) Limited, an Irish firm headquartered in Dundalk. Its list includes Google Pay, Apple Pay, PayPal and cash at its shops. See the BoyleSports review.

Their casino tabs run under foreign licences, as at every Irish bookmaker. The Google Pay deposit funds the whole account.

How to check a casino cashier for Google Pay

  1. Read the operator's payments or banking page, not an affiliate list. Look for Google Pay by name and for the countries it applies to.
  2. Open the cashier on the Android phone you will use, in Chrome or the casino's app. Many sites only show Google Pay on mobile.
  3. Check the currency. A site that works in sterling will convert a euro card deposit, at your bank's rate.
  4. Read the withdrawal section. If it does not say where Google Pay deposits are paid back, ask before depositing.

Google Pay gambling and the credit card rule

Wallet will happily hold a credit card. A GRAI licensee will not take it for gambling: section 165 of the 2024 Act has banned credit cards and other credit facilities for gambling since February 2026. Set a debit card as the default in Wallet before you deposit, or the payment will fail at a licensed bookmaker. A foreign casino is not bound by the Irish Act in the same way, which is a reason for caution, not a loophole.

Android apps and the browser

Many casino-only brands send Android players to the mobile site rather than to an app. For Google Pay that makes little difference: the button works in Chrome as long as a card is saved in Wallet. If you do want an app, take it from Google Play and check that the developer name matches the operator's licence holder. Be wary of any casino asking you to install an app file from its own website.

Payouts after a Google Pay deposit

Google Pay carries money in one direction. Winnings normally return to the debit card behind the token, or go by bank transfer where the operator prefers that. Speed then depends on the card scheme, your bank and the operator's own pending period. The first withdrawal waits on identity checks, so upload documents early. Our page on fast withdrawal casinos explains the queue.

All of this is for adults: 18+ at every site named here. Google Pay deposits take two taps, which is a good reason to set a deposit limit first and to keep the support numbers on our safer gambling page to hand.

Readers' questions

Do any casinos accept Google Pay in Ireland?
Some may, but none of the casino-only brands in our files confirms Google Pay in its own payment list. bet365 and BoyleSports, both GRAI-licensed for betting, list it for their accounts.
Why can't I see the Google Pay button at a casino?
The button needs a card saved in Google Wallet and usually a mobile browser or app. If it still does not show, the operator does not offer it for your country.
Can I withdraw to Google Pay?
Payouts normally go to the debit card behind the Google Pay token or by bank transfer, since Google Pay itself holds no balance for casino winnings.
Will a credit card in Google Wallet work for betting?
Not with a GRAI-licensed bookmaker. The Gambling Regulation Act 2024 bans credit cards for gambling, so set a debit card as your default.
