BoyleSports App: Download, Licence and the Casino Question
The BoyleSports app is the sportsbook on a phone, under the same GRAI betting licence as the website. Getting it from the right store and setting limits on day one matter more than any feature list.

The BoyleSports app is listed on the Irish App Store, as BoyleSports Sports Betting App, and on Google Play. It runs the same account as the website, under the GRAI remote betting licence held by Boylesports (Gibraltar) Limited, so the regulator, the rules and the balance are identical whichever screen you use.
Getting the BoyleSports app on your phone
Download it from the official stores only. A betting app passed around as a loose file, or found on a site other than the store and the operator's own pages, may not be what it claims to be. The store links, where the operator data carries them: iPhone , Android .
- Install the app from the App Store or Google Play.
- Log in with an existing BoyleSports account, or register; the same details work on the website.
- Complete identity and age checks. Licensees must verify both under regulations made in July 2026, and an unverified account cannot bet.
- Set a deposit limit in the account settings before the first deposit.
- Choose a payment method and deposit.
- Before a racing bet, check in the help pages whether the race qualifies for best odds.
We do not quote store ratings or device requirements; they change with each release and the store listing is the place to check them.
Paying from the phone
The help centre lists Apple Pay and Google Pay among deposit methods, the natural fit for an app: no card number typed on a small screen. Cash paid in at a BoyleSports shop lands in the same balance and can be bet through the app; the other methods are listed in our review. The minimum deposit is EUR 5. No credit cards, by law. Withdrawals return to the deposit method where possible under the firm's closed-loop policy. Our Apple Pay guide explains how wallet payments work with Irish bookies.
Is there a separate BoyleSports casino app?
Our research did not confirm whether the casino sits inside the sports app or in a separate one for Irish accounts. More important than the download is the licence: the GRAI has not issued any gaming licence, and expects to start in early 2027, so the casino on any BoyleSports app does not run under an Irish licence. Which foreign regulator covers it was not confirmed. Bets on horses, the GAA or golf in the app are covered by the Irish betting licence; spins are not.
App against website
Everything that matters is shared: the account, the balance, the betting rules, the best-odds concession on UK and Irish racing as described in the help pages, and any offer the account has opted into. Any live new-customer deal shows here when the operator data carries it: .
The practical differences are speed and temptation. In-play betting on a phone is quick, which is why limits set on day one earn their keep. For a comparison of licensed bookie apps, see the best betting apps in Ireland; for the firm as a whole, the BoyleSports review.
Limits that travel with the account
Under section 164 of the Gambling Regulation Act 2024 every licensee must offer money limits on remote gambling, and a limit set in the app applies on the website as well. A time-out taken in the app stops play with BoyleSports only; a cross-industry register is written into the Act but was not yet operating in October 2026. The app is for adults, 18+, and our responsible gambling page lists support in Ireland.
