New Casino Sites for Irish Players: What Is Actually New

A new logo is often an old company with a fresh coat of paint. We list the newest casino brands open to Irish players first, then show who really runs them.

New casinos

Of the new casino sites open to Irish players this autumn, the most recent are Megaways Casino, extended to international markets in May 2026, and 247bet, which review listings give as established in 2024. Neither is new in the sense that matters: both are run by companies that operate dozens of casino brands under the same Malta licence, and neither holds an Irish licence, because Ireland does not issue online casino licences yet.

That second point applies to every new online casino in Ireland, old or new. The Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland expects to begin gaming licensing in early 2027, and until then a brand launched last week answers to Malta or Great Britain, exactly like one launched in 2013.

The first three are the newest names on our books; Lucky Pants Bingo and 32Red Casino are there as a yardstick. All five are 18+ only, and a new account is the best moment to set a deposit limit, as our safer gambling notes explain.

New casino sites and the companies behind them

Megaways Casino

SkillOnNet relaunched Megaways Casino in Britain in March 2026 and extended the .com site to other markets under its Malta Gaming Authority licence in May 2026, according to trade press. Skill On Net Limited also runs KnightSlots, MegaCasino and Luna Casino. We could not read the operator's own terms; review listings for Ireland treat it as open to Irish players. Its Maltese licence is not an Irish licence.

247bet

Review listings name White Hat Gaming Limited as operator, under licences from the MGA and the UK Gambling Commission. White Hat is the company behind Casilando, Playzee, Grand Ivy and Casimba, so 247bet is a new front door on a long-established house. The operator's own terms could not be read, so whether Irish players are accepted is not confirmed by the operator. Treat it as unconfirmed until the terms say otherwise.

Wildz

Wildz is not a new brand, but its licence is. Register data ties wildz.com to a newer Malta Gaming Authority licence held by Granturo Malta Ltd; older sources name Rootz Limited. A change of licence holder is worth noticing, because your contract is with whoever holds the licence on the day you deposit.

Why a new online casino is usually an old one

Casino brands are cheap to launch. A licensed platform company can open a new skin with a different colour scheme, a fresh welcome offer and the same back office, payments team and terms. White Hat Gaming and SkillOnNet each run a string of them. That is not a scandal; it does mean that a complaint about a new brand ends up with the same company, and that self-excluding from one brand may not close the others. Check the sister brands before you rely on a self-exclusion, and see our sister sites page for the family trees.

The useful question about any new casino website is therefore not "how new" but "whose". A new brand from a company with a clean record and a Malta or British licence is a known quantity. A new brand from a company that appeared the same year, on a Curacao or Anjouan licence, is not.

New casinos to swerve

New offshore casinos arrive every month. Lussurio, listed as established in 2026 on a Curacao licence, is a typical example: crypto-led, no Irish licence and no Irish protection, with any dispute going to a regulator in the Caribbean, if anywhere. We do not rank brands like it and do not link to them. A shiny launch date is no substitute for a regulator who answers the phone.

New casino no deposit bonus offers

A new casino no deposit bonus, usually a handful of free spins on sign-up, is the classic launch offer. Read three lines before claiming one: the wagering requirement on winnings, the maximum cash-out from the bonus, and whether a deposit is needed before any withdrawal. A no deposit offer with a low cash-out cap is a sample, not a windfall. Current offers for the brands above appear on each review through the operator data, and the no deposit bonuses page covers the small print in more detail.

Launch offers may not last in their current form: the inducement rules in the Gambling Regulation Act 2024 are written but not yet commenced, as our no wagering casinos page explains.

New casinos with PayPal and other details to check

Payment lists on new sites tend to be thin at launch. Among the brands we cover, PayPal is confirmed in the terms of Lucky Pants Bingo, alongside Visa debit, Mastercard, Paysafecard, Apple Pay and Trustly; for the newest brands we have not been able to read a payment list at all. Our payments section explains which methods tend to pay out fastest. On a new site, also check:

  • the company name and licence number in the footer, matched on the regulator's register;
  • whether Ireland appears in the restricted countries list;
  • the currency: some brands open to Ireland still run accounts in sterling;
  • deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion in the account menu.

Readers' questions

Are new casino sites licensed in Ireland?
No new or old casino holds an Irish licence, as the GRAI has not started gaming licensing. New brands open to Irish players rely on licences from Malta, Great Britain or similar regulators.
Which is the newest casino brand on the card?
Megaways Casino, which SkillOnNet extended to international markets in May 2026 under its Malta licence. 247bet, listed as established in 2024, comes next.
Is a new casino safer than an established one?
Not by itself. Safety comes from the regulator and the company. Many new brands are run by the same firms as older ones, so check the licence holder rather than the launch date.
Do new casinos give no deposit bonuses?
Some do at launch, usually as free spins. Check the wagering on winnings and the cap on what you can withdraw before treating the offer as free money.
